I don't recommend this slip and slide.

Although it took a while before the kids really figured it out, they all had tons of fun with it.

On the first use one of the holes where the stake goes in ripped.

The slide was already ripped when I took it out the box - by the stake whol on one of th sides. I didn't have time to return it because the kids were already in bathing suits ready to go. The kids had lots of fun (5 hours), but the slide totally ripped and is now useless. They need to make them more durable.

Last year I had one of these and my boys (aged 4 and 2) used it endlessly. It finally tore and got tossed at the end of the summer. Bought a new one, same style, this year and it lasted ONE DAY. In fact, I suspect it was beginning to tear when I took it out of the box. So, if you buy one, check the edges near the hole at the inflated end of the slide, where the stake goes in on the left side----that's where mine tore both years.

I bought this yesterday, and in less than 1 hour it had popped. I don't recommend this slip and slide.

I remember loving this when I was a kid, so I figured it would be great for my 4 year old's birthday party. Although it took a while before the kids really figured it out, they all had tons of fun with it. Of course, I had to give it a try (I still got it!!). Although the pegs didnt all stay in the ground, the slide still held up over all. I expected the thing to be ruined by party's end but it held up fine. Will surely use it again. I would definitely recommend it for children of this age.

Wow. I don't understand it. The slip and slide I had as a kid (whamo brand, mind you) lasted all through my childhood. Bought this for my daughter. On the first use one of the holes where the stake goes in ripped. On the second use all 57 punds of her was sliding down and when she hit the "splash pool" one of the sides popped! The way I figure it has two more sides to pop so it should give her another two uses. Sheesh this product sucked on durability!

I have never found one that last. But lisen to this; you can buy a huge length of the same plastic material at any hardware store for $5.00!get a few foam noodles at Dollar Store and roll them on the sides of plastic and have 2 sprinklers going, works great! dont forget to lube it up with some baby shampoo!

Verified Purchase
I specifically bought the Slip N' Slide Wave Rider "18' Sliding Surface" thinking I was getting an 18 ft sliding surface. Not the case.

I have the box in front of me and the slide out of the box and sure enough, this pup is only 16 ft.

False advertising.

The product performed less than adequately. The children were frustrated by the perfromance.
I recall the original when I was a child and it was quite fun. I suppose this particular design didn't receive test market data review before it was put out for manufacturing.
I am in sunny and hot San Antonio so it is critical that these type of toys work so that kids will cool off and have fun. This toy did not do this.
On a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being the highest rating I give it a 1 at best. I would not recommend it for others to buy.
