About the Author

April Higney is a poetry writer and visual artist, with work set to inspire beyond the struggles of life, loss, relationships, and romance. Many of her poems blend themes of nature and spiritual realms with contrasting elements to balance meaning, casting imagery to the words. She was born and raised in Massachusetts then relocated to the southeastern U.S. ~ Along her path she has made many friends, regarded as her strongest point of personal inspiration, with the supportive and creative influences of family. This is the first of her novels to be created and published, with anticipation to produce more.

April Higney
Slipping Back and Forth Between Parallels ISBN 9781456429256

Yeah I know, I'm not supposed to judge a book by it's cover, but the beautiful, otherworldly cover really art spoke to me, beckoning me to open the book, and experience the journey for myself.

I was not disappointed. Higney`s visual art and poetic background are evident in her expert weaving of realities. It reminds me of layers of musical point and counterpoint, with just the right amount of syncopation to keep it interesting.

I delayed reading the last few pages, as I didn't want the book to end. If you enjoy a thrilling, dream-like adventure, then you will LOVE Slipping Back and Forth Between Parallels.
