Well built and good hardware.

Like others have said - no rattles, and it helps to have another hand to hold it while another tightens the screws.

Its way nicer than you can tell by the pictures.

I highly reccomend this windshield, its actually a clear batwing fairing. Its way nicer than you can tell by the pictures. Be advised< the front mounts go to the bolts that hold the headlight on, not to the forks like older models. The hardware and everything is great. It is nice to have a second set of hands for the install. I did it my self in a half hour.

I wanted the fairing for winter riding especially to keep the wind off my hands. Works perfectly!

Like others have said - no rattles, and it helps to have another hand to hold it while another tightens the screws.

Delivery was fast. Package arrived in great shape.

The hardware that came in the package was sufficient - no extra trip to the hardware store was required for me. The bolts on the side of my head light are long enough to be used where the fairing attaches to the head light. Black brackets are provided that extend from these bolts out to the fairing. They are hard to see, but they are in the picture.

The fairing also attaches to the handle bars with the vertical black rods in the picture. I used the rectangle rubber pieces that came with the mounting hardware under the handlebar clamps. There was no mention of these rubber pieces, but that seemed to be the right thing to do with them.

purchased this windshield for my son's Suzuki V700 Madura. Fits good, but came with 7/8" clamps - which Slipstreamer chart says are correct. However, the bike has 1" handlebars so had to buy additional clamps to fit.

makes riding less tiring, here in Vermont it is extending my riding season as well. Make sure you check tightness on all the screws. I lost a wing nut and had to replace it. Also make sure you have someone help you install it the first time unless you are a octopus.

I bought this awhile back and waited on the review. First off, let me say that this is a good product. It is also, more or less, a universal fit, which means it will fit your bike or it will fit your bike with some work. My bike is a 1979 Honda CX500 with the 'Plastic Maggot' mini fairing. My bike fell in the 'some work' category. A little work with a Dremel and a sanding drum along with several test fits and I'm now happy.

If your bike falls in the 'doesn't require some work' category, use real tools, not the short allen wrenches that come with it. Replace the wing screws with allen set screws. Also, 242 Loctite is your friend. Use it on all screws except those that come in close contact with the windshield. The Loctite could damage the plexiglas.

This little windscreen is awesome. It is huge. It even sticks out a bit over the grips to keep your digits from freezing when you had the BRILLIANT idea of riding in December in Illinois. This windshield allowed me to ride to work and back later in the year than I was able to before which actually helped pay for the cos of the shield.

I ordered a Slipstreamer III SO3 clear fairing for my 1982 Virago 920 and received it in half the time specified. Slipstreamer III S03 The Original Windshield - Clear S-03-C-M. At $137 it was less expensive by almost $60 from any other vendor. It fit great, looks great, and I am greatly satisfied.

The Slipstreamer S-03 windshield is a well made shield of Lexan or polyglass construction. The included mounts are easy to install and very sturdy. I believe I could raise the motorcycle's front end of the ground by grabbing the shield at the bottom and lifting it w/o causing any harm to the shield. The Slipstreamer is also optically clear and easy to see thru. The only drawback to some riders will be that it is a smaller shield than some others on the market and doesn't offer lower wind protection, but the wind protection for the riders chest and hands is very good. Basically it is a good value and it does stop the wind blast for the rider.
