I put this on my Amazon Wishlist on a whim, and I am so glad that I did. Otherwise I would've never tried Slooh.

I love amateur astronomy, but weather/clouds/light pollution make it impractical to view outdoors most of the time.

The first time that I used Slooh, I wasn't sure how I felt about it. It felt like static pictures, rather than live pictures. The next time that I logged in, I happened to be online when comet 8P/Tuttle intersected with with M33/Pinwheel Galaxy. I watched the comet move across the galaxy in real time while it was happening. The experience was enhanced by discussing what I was seeing with the other members in the private chat room. It was a very exciting event to see live and I finally realized the beauty of Slooh.

The other members are very nice, supportive and helpful. The live radio shows are very interesting and informative.

This would be a great gift for families with children who are interested in astronomy, but who don't want to have to fiddle with telescopes and other sensitive equipment.

Once these 500 minutes are up, I'm definitely signing up for the unlimited yearly membership.

Never was credited the minutes.Tryed to contact customer support and only get a Russian Web
