i had hoped to get some interesting ideas for building on a sloping lot... the plans in this book typically are adapted for a slope by adding a daylight basement. i was disappointed to see that most plans were just regular plans on top of a basement, instead of interesting uses of multi-level living spaces. if you can't get enough of floor plans, this book might be for you - but i have another Best Home Plans book (can't remember the title), and some of the plans looked familiar from that...
