the relatively smal handbook justifies the title. Through simple chapters it covers the basics and some hints about the slot hobby.
Larger coverage would be appreciated, but its objective text and figures are a good addition to the hobby.

This is a small book, but covers a lot of the basics of slot car racing. An excellent introduction to the sport, but if you've been racing and reading the internet forums for a year or so there won't be much new in here for you.
That said, good info and nicely printed. Advanced info is best found online, in forums such as slotforum and slotcarillustrated. They should include this book in every new slot car set!

I have just recently read book, the book tends to be more for those who have just entered or are about to enter into the slot car hobby. It gives an over view of every thing to do with the cars, racing, tracks and every thing that goes to make a slot car race track. A good book for those just entering the hobby. Naptolmie
