This is a must-read book for all slot players. There's information here that can't be found anywhere else. --by Henry Tamburin, columnist Casino Player magazine

Has more information than any slot book ever published, including which machines can be favorable to the players. Twenty-five great chapters and a must read book. --by Bill Burton, Casino City Times

Spot-on tips exploring certain "advantage slot machines" and how best to play them. I enjoyed Slots Conquest as much for its solid advice as for its gambling humor and light touch with heavy topics. --T. Dana Smith, Gaming Today

Gift ideas: Many of the best books are by Frank Scoblete. Got a slots lover in your life? Get them Slots Conquest: How to Beat the Slot Machines! --Aaron Todd, Casino City Times

Beatable slot games such as S&H Green Stamps and Triple Diamond Mine, with banked bonuses that reward smart players. I spotted a Green Stamps machine after finishing this book, I knew just what to look for. --John Grochowski, CasinoCityTimes

My books are geared to getting you the edge over the casino or, at the very least, keeping the casino edge to a minimum.

"The Virgin Kiss," the story of Frank's outrageous adventures in and out of the casinos.

Frank grew up in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, New York. He graduated from Our Lady of Angels grammar school. He attended St. John's Prep high school on a full athletic scholarship for baseball and basketball.

Switching directions, Frank attended college on a full, academic scholarship. In college, Frank boxed ("I was pummeled in my last fight. I have no memory of the last seven minutes.") and wrote for the school paper. He majored in history, literature and philosophy.

In 1975, Frank decided to try his hand at acting ("I've always been a ham!"). In 1979, Frank co-founded a professional touring troupe that played dinner theatres, resorts, and charities. From 1979 until he sold his share of the company in 1989, Frank produced, directed and acted in over 50 plays.

In 1986, Frank was researching the lead role for the hit play, The Only Game in Town - the story of a down-and-out gambler in Las Vegas. His co-star was Alene Paone. They went to Atlantic City to research their roles. "I was hooked. I began to realize that I enjoyed the casinos even more than I enjoyed working in the theatre." Alene and Frank toured in the play for four months, fell in love, and married.

In 1989, Frank sold his share of the theatre company and began his career as a gaming writer with articles and short stories for Win Magazine. In the 1990s Frank became a columnist for Casino Player Magazine and Midwest Gaming and Travel.

With the phenomenal success of his first book published in 1991 - which has subsequently become the best-selling craps book of all time - Frank began a successful climb to the top of the gaming mountain. He is now the most well known, respected and sought-after gaming writer and speaker in the country.

He has appeared frequently on television including the History Channel, A&E where his dice control team defeated three casinos in unedited action, also the Travel Channel, CNN, TBS, and the National Geographic Channel, among others. Frank has done hundreds of radio shows throughout the country.

A charismatic speaker, Frank has been featured at many festivals, conventions and schools where he motivates people to get the "winning attitude."

He has given talks at bookstores throughout the country, and also at libraries, charitable organizations, at fund-raising activities and at the Learning Anex.

So many gambling books on their covers say they can help you beat the games and when you read the books you realize that the cover was just hype. Well, Scoblete's book is far different than those. It actually explains which slot machines can be beaten at which times and how much money you need to have as your bankroll when playing these machines. It explains exactly how to play these machines and even offers advice on machines that might not be advantage-play but come close to it.

The players can get a real edge over the house if they follow Scoblete's advice. These machines are in Vegas because I played several there and won some money. Some might not be found in some places but these are the ones to look for.

What else I love about the book is that Scoblete is a fun writer and makes what could be a boring book into one where you enjoy every page when you read it. The material is original and much of it comes from Scoblete's personal experiences and his work as a consultant to slot companies.

I have read just about all the slot books looking for some way to beat them and I can tell you this is by far the best. Even non-slot players might want to look into this book because those advantage play machines can help everyone's bottom line. I play craps too and now I also consider myself a smart slot player as well. I recommend this book 100 percent!

I usually avoid the slot machines in all casinos. After reading this book, Frank Scoblete has discovered that not all slot machines are equal. Certain slots build up credits. You can walk by these machines and know that they are ready to hit or close to hit certain jackpots. This book will change the way you play slots in the future.

Truly a great book on how to get an edge at these machines. I have been a table games player for many years and don't play the slots because of the high casino advantage against the player. In this book Mr. Scoblete not only goes through the basics of slots and what they have to offer, but he covers in great detail the bank roll a player needs to have a chance, but he also tells you what machines to play and when to play them. One should play the correct machines only when they give the player a window of opportunity to have an edge over the casino.

If you are a serious slots player this is a must read. I know that the wife and I can't wait to try some of this out on our next trip to Vegas in January.

First, I have never written a negative review about any product I've bought from Amazon. Second, since I am a fan of his writings I never expected the first negative review would be about a book written by Scoblete. Well, there's a first time for just about everything and I guess this is it.

This "Conquest" book is 80% rehashed Random Number Generator (which doesn't exist) to material any semi-literate person could find on the Web for free. That pretty much tells you the entire contents of this book so save your money and do a search on advantage player slot machines and you'll get all of this information back in less than a second on a good search engine.

Having been to Vegas many times in the past 20 years as I have relatives there, I guess in truth I did not expect to find alot of new insight in this book. My expectations were not exceeded. The author writes in a casual, personable style, so the book is pleasant to read. As to real information about how to beat the slots? The truth is there is little to actually say, and nothing anyone even remotely familar with slots doesn't already know. Larger denominations have larger payoff percentages. For multi-coin machines only play max coins when you need to in order to maximize pay-offs. Why play $3.00 in a penny slot when the odds with 3 coins in a dollar machine are much greater percentage-wise? Progressives have lower pay-out percentages overall and if you do play them in hopes of hitting the big one, make sure you play max coins. If you can find a slot where payoffs maximize to a certain point before they hit, only play them when they are close to paying out. Don't play more than you can afford to lose. There - now you don't need to read the book. :-)

I have to apologize to Frank Scoblete. When I read the information about this book I thought there was no way that some slot machines could be beaten. Well I am totally wrong! Scoblete has a whole bunch of them and how to play them in terms of how much money you need and at what exact point they favor the player. This information works as I just came back from Vegas and played three of the machines Scoblete recommends.

This book is also typical of Scoblete's work. It has everything in it about slots and some really fun chapters as well. I take my hat off to Scoblete and apologize again for not believing that this is the greatest slot book ever written.
