I really fluked into this one. A pleasant surprise. With ,
Slow Burn , Sabina Murray has skillfully captured the plastic existence of a well-to-do sector of Philippine society. Take out the occasional use of the country's language and specific locations , and this story could've easily taken place anywhere. A well crafted novel. |
