Book Description

Slow cooker meals

are great for keeping your kitchen cool, or minimizing clean-up, but they can also be quick!

While using a slow cooker in a ‘flash’ may seem impossible, I can assure you that it definitely is not. Obviously, the actual cooking will take some time, but the preparation of the recipe should use as little time as possible. Slow Cooker in a Flash focuses on minimizing your preparation time so you can drop it in the slow cooker and walk away!

Almost every recipe in this book can be created without any additional cooking. All you have to do is mix the ingredients, toss them in the slow cooker, and step away while your meal sits for a few hours. The method of preparation makes these recipes absolutely perfect for when you have a long day ahead of you. Have a day at work? You can simply place the food in the slow cooker before you leave your home, and by the time you walk back through your door, you can have a delicious and appetizing meal waiting for you!

Slow Cooker in a Flash contains absolutely amazing recipes like Baked Beans (great for a cool kitchen with summer barbecues), pot roast, several chicken recipes including chicken and rice, a couple different chowder recipes, a great peach cobbler recipe and many more mouthwatering dishes. Now you can cook like a pro even when your life is “on the go”.

2.0 out of 5 stars Unhealthy recipes January 11, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Ugh! These recipes were the pits. Almost all called for processed food like processed cheese, soup mixes, barbeque sauces that usually contain high fructose corn syrup, etc. Even if you don't mind these types of ingredients, the recipes were hardly inspiring. I'm deleting this book from my Kindle.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good at twice the price! October 12, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I've only tried two recipes so far, but they both were easy and delicious. One tip-- I made the potato chowder, and I think I improved it a little by processing a little more onion, a carrot, a couple of ribs of celery, and half a red bell pepper. It added some complexity and flavor, and we really enjoyed it. I'm sure it's good just as written, but you might want to try adding someting more.
