This book was sent very quickly. It was packed really great. Lainie Gardner was an advice columnist. She was suddenly without sound thought but on sensory overload when she found herself dancing in Slone Abbott's arms. Theres was an impossible rwlationship. He is a Texas Ranger protector. She is the celebrity protctee. Under normal circomstances their paths should never have crossed. But when her life suddenly, terrifyingly had gone from run of the mill to on the run, it was Slone whose body had sheiled hers and who now stirred dangerous feelings in her. For Lainie the professional would have wissly counseled against an affair that could lead nowhere. But the woman part of her wasn't listening.

Another great read from Linda Conrad. Lainie and Sloane drive each other stark raving crazy - in more ways than one! He's trying to protect her body and she's trying to protect her heart. The attraction is inevitable and, as Conrad's fans have come to expect, so is the danger. I won't spoil the ending, but readers who resist peeking will love the last line...as much as the first.

Lainie Gardner has dedicated her life to her career as an advice columnist. She has all the answers for everyone including herself until her life is threatened. Sloan Abbott, a tough Texas Ranger, steps up as her bodyguard and they go on the run. Sparks fly as these two opposites race across Texas and discover some truths about themselves along the way.

It's really fun to see these two being drawn to each other. This is a hot, passionate story that Linda Conrad does so well.
