This book does have some helpful ideas about pictures and contacts but most of it is very obvious at least to anyone who is over 30. The author's example of his contact email is ridiculous - it is inceredibly cheesy and I can't believe anyone would fall for it. I read it to a couple of people and they also thought it was ridiculous. On top of everything else the pictures and side comments in the book are very porrly reproduced and hard to read. The book looks like someone who has done a lot of online dating and had some reasonable ideas was then told to stretch it into a book. This book might work if you are young and are mainly looking just for sex rather than anything resembling a relationship.

Seems like most of the reviewers are from California, and most likely friends of the author. This book really has nothing to offer that you could not figure out yourself.

This book is great! What I liked about it is the fact that it was written for the "real guy". This is not some sappy "find your true love" online book. If you are an E-Harmony kind of person then this book is not for you. But If you are a guys guy and you want better results with meeting the women you want to have sexual relations with, then this book is perfect.

I'm new to online dating and had no idea where to begin. I decided to read a few books regarding the subject matter and for the most part they all contain useful information. Slow and Tight is definitely a guy's book from a guy's point of view. What I like about it is that it's very direct and informative. No beating around the bush. It's short, sweet, and to the point.

This book gives you everything you need to know on how get started. What to put in your profile. What to put in your contact letters. What not to bring up in conversation, etc. They say "practice makes perfect" and "initiating the conversation is half the battle". The author of Slow and Tight has been there and done that with years of experience and research. Bottom line, he knows what works and what doesn't.

I highly recommend online dating but trust me it can be difficult. It doesn't hurt having a book / coach to help guide you through the process. By following these steps I've been on more first dates and less rejections. It works! You just have to put these steps into action. Overall, this is a very good book and easy to understand giving you the fundamentals to be successful at online dating.

This book was extremely disappointing. If I could rate it less than one star, I think that would still be too high. His ideas for original profiles and emails are extremely cheesy and not at all original. Frankly, I'd be embarrassed to put any of it in my profile. One of his recommendations is to add a paragraph in your profile that tells women that even if you don't get to know them, they should help animals in need. He then rambles on for 3 sentences about sick animals and how they can't speak for themselves. Ok, I understand if you're for animal rights and all, but this just seems like a sleazy attempt at getting a woman to think you're sensitive. The rest of his advice, that he claims to be unique, is the same exact dribble you see on every other guys profile. The typos are ridiculous and his grammar is horrible, through the entire book he uses "chose" when he should use "choose". This is an amateurish book written by a complete idiot who thinks he knows what women want. While I personally can't speak to what women want, in my opinion he comes across as a total dbag. I honestly wouldn't want anything to do with a woman that falls for his so-called "techniques". The reviewers that gave positive feedback here are either morons or friends of the author. If you haven't gotten the point yet, DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK! CLICK AWAY NOW!

This book covers all aspects of dating from the author's perspective and some statistical informaiton. Out of all the other online dating books that I have bought so far, this one is the most valuable.

This guide has so much great stuff in it - you can start using it immediately. It really is a step-by-step guide to having success on internet dating sites like Match and eHarmony. You can tell its written by a "real guy" too, not some person who's just trying to explain how the websites work, but rather how normal people can succeed on them! The system really makes sense, and the book has great examples and templates that be used for profiles, emails, etc. I only wish I would have found this sooner - for less than the cost of one month Match membership, I ended up with about 4 times as many dates than I had before!
