I found this book to be very practical and easy to read. I have been looking for a book to help me understand dental problems in general practice and this book taught me so much. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone needing to get started and build a firm foundation in veterinary dentistry. I especially loved the photos of actual procedures and the chapters on intraoral radiology and oral surgery. The section on oral surgical instruments and the source list in the back helped me find the right tools for the job.

Dr. Paul Q. Mitchell really knows the topic of small animal dentistry and is an expert in this field! I highly recommend this book to anyone who is interested in small animal dentistry and I hope he writes another book someday which I will definitely buy through Amazon.
