5.0 out of 5 stars High-End Engine Building May 13, 2010
By MDJ
Format:Paperback
I bought this book for ideas for building an ultimate street big block. It provides a very thorough tour of professional engine building. Like any race engine build, you have to pay exceptional attention to the details. All the small details in this book made it a very informative read.

4.0 out of 5 stars My son`s education..... December 26, 2013
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
When my oldest son decided to take up stock car racing (our family has a lot of racers ) I bought him this volume to give him some incite into racing engines so when he was dealing with engine builders he would have better understanding of what they were offering
and what he really needed. Well done...a good primer for the aspiring racer.
