Not really...but almost. I don't have to run to my lawyer all the times for business, real estate and personal forms. It's all here.Just use the nady disk provided and fill in the blanks.By the way, Dicks does explain when and how to use an attorney. Those tips alone saved me thousands. Not bad for a$20 investment.

I just picked up a copy of this book tonite at out local BAMM store. It is 450 pages packed with forms on just about everything you need from power of attorney forms, concession agreements, writing to your credit card company and writing late payment noticed to your tenants. And a whole lot more.

It also comes with a floppy disk with easy fill in the blank forms. You will find all the forms you need for investment and personal use, corporate forms, employment forms, real estate forms and general business forms.

Dicks also talks about the legal system, when and how to work with a lawyer.

It's reasonably priced too.

This small business kit saved me thousands in legal fees and attorney costs. Dicks has put together an excellent "bookshelf lawyer" type of program for everyday people with all of the legal forms you will need.

This book is mostly examples of legal forms, software would be a much better investment. There is some (very little) information and advice on the subjects but not as much as I was hoping for.

I just picked up this text at our local BAMM store. Very interesting and great for new business people. My only complaint is that the book is a little old (1997) could be updated and the disk is not compatible for my computer.

If you are looking for a good bookshelf legal resource, this is it.

I just started a single owner LLC and found this book quite useful. Now admittedly, this book is not the end all for legal forms. That's where lawyers come in. However, I was very impressed with the many fill-in-the-blank legal forms that came on the floppy. The forms are in .rtf format so you do not even need MS Word. The book has the forms and filled in examples. Over all, you get your money's worth.

What I like most about this book/disk set is that every form that I need is available.

Need a will? Done!

Need a contract? Done!

Need a credit dispute form? Done!

Living trust? Done!

Bill of sale? Done!

The book is just a gathering of legal forms, which is pretty much what I expected. However, in order to use any of the forms in the book, you must type them into your computer. There is no place online where I can get the forms and modify to my liking, which is ridiculous, because surely the book was created using a computer. I'm sure the author would want to charge extra money to get the forms already in an electronic format, but that's just greedy to me. This book isn't of much use other than knowing your forms will pass the legal requirements and it takes a bit of needless extra time to recreate on the computer what the author has already created for you. My rating would be much higher if I didn't have to waste time re-typing someone elses work that I'd purchased.
