I bought this book for a Small Business Management class at Berkeley City College. It is completely full of information on how to build a small business the proven way the first time. There are plenty of testimonials and case studys and exercises to help us apply business fundamentals to real-world situations.

I also like the online component that has flashcards to help learn the keywords and videos, too.

It's a heavy book. It's very expensive, list price $190.00. I bought mine used (from a person who used it once for a test, so it's practically brand new) for $90 + $3 shipping. Still expensive, but way cheaper by comparison.

I got this book for a Small Business Management class that I took a while ago. This book was packed with great information and the case studies where great as well and made you think with a whole different perspective on business matters. I've kept this book and have not traded or sold it because it has a ton of useful information for people thinking about starting a new business. I would not only recommend this to people taking a business class, but also for people out in the real world toying with the idea of starting their own business.

I purchased this book for my SBM class.The book is good for freshmen. Very colorful and and easy to understand. However, for my business major it's too simple. I found nothing new to learn from it. I gave it 4 stars because it's entartaining, and.... I would give only 1 star to my professor who picked the book for the beginners :)

I got this book for my business class. And while it is very thorough, it can be a bit verbose. I wish it highlighted key points a bit better. Also, print is fairly small so be sure to have reading glasses if needed.

I think this book is phenomenal! I was literally just thinking to myself earlier tonight that it is a very resourceful tool for school. I go to MSB college, and I needed to purchase the book for my small business management class. I think it's a great book. I can find any word I'm looking for, and each chapter is detailed and easy to follow. I think the price was great for the condition of the book, I can tell I got a good deal.

This text is colorful and entertaining, with nice realistic examples. I would recommend it for someone planning to start a small business, it wil save you from some common mistakes. Good book for a general business training, a little basic for a business major.

This book is very helpful if you are intersted in learning about businesses or are intersted in opening your own business. There is a lot of helpful information in this book.

Received the book faster than expected and it is in NEW condition thanks so much!

I received the book and it is in perfect condition, however there was NO printed access card accompanying it. I was concerned with the time period that it took for delivery, seems the book spent four days in Philadelphia, then traveled to NJ...it took over a week to make it's destination and I only live an hour and 1/2 away.

I was so very, very pleased when the book arrived on time and exceeded my expectation of the book's condition based on the description. Of course the savings are paramount! How much better can it get than to receive a book in like new condition?
