Book Description

September 1, 2005
Entrepreneurship has become the "American Dream" of the new millennium. However, most small businesses go under within their first two years and only 1 in 10 make it ten years. Even the smartest small business owner, can quickly find themselves awash in a sea of debt, taxes, unscrupulous competitors, and greedy lawyers and accountants. What’s more, legal remedies are seldom effective in fending off these small business piranhas—and they are often only useful AFTER the damage has been done.
If you’re one of the 30 million Americans who is either currently running or hoping to start a small business, you need to protect yourself before you take the plunge. The Small Business Survival Guide is the first book to provide effective and affordable strategies for coping with small business predators—and safeguarding your assets, ideas, and success.
"Cliff Ennico's practical, inspirational and humorous advice is essential for anyone thinking about starting a business or struggling to revitalize one."

--- Jane Applegate, noted small business expert and author of The Entrepreneur's Desk Reference
"This book is a must read for anyone with a desire to be their own boss. If you’re already running a small business it’s a book you’ll wish you had read sooner! This book provides sage advice peppered with unique humor that is sure to engage every reader."

--Susan Wilson Solovic, CEO, Small Business Television Network, SBTV.com
"It IS a jungle out there! The Small Business Survival Guide will help steer you past the problems and challenges of running a small business and lead you to entrepreneurial success."

I really enjoyed reading Cliff's book. In October of last year I attended an Ebay University course in which this author had been the presenter. This is how I discovered the book. As a live presenter, Cliff was very humorous but concise about the fundamental aspects of running a business. His eloquent yet lighthearted insights into the trials, pitfalls, and realities related to successful business practices have been explained in this book. I recommend it very highly.
