Not as great as the first two...,

I enjoyed the first book in this series, but the books became more confusing and by the end of this book I had a hard time keeping "realities" straight. I think the story line is interesting, but feel that it could have been written in a more coherent manner. Also, as I found nothing offensive in the first two books, I found the graphic descriptions of an attempted rape & multiple murders disturbing. I don't see how these events added significantly to the story line, and would not recommend this book to young readers because of these incidents.
