Excellent design, easy to use!,

Before buying the Avian Fashions flight suit we tried the Aviator harness. It was scary, putting a nylon noose around the bird's neck. When our maroon belly conure freaked, I feared for her life, as nylon would rip her head off before it would break.
Next we tried this flight suit/diaper. We got it in the cheap trainer version (white) initially, and went thru the usual acclimation process, which only took a few days. As of the third session, my 11-year-old daughter was able to put this flight suit on our bird by herself. Birdie still protests (she's got a little attitude), but once it's on, she really enjoys her time outside. I think the protests will subside over time as she knows a reward always follows, and we immediately noticed a positive change in her behavior associated with these new excursions outside. The diaper aspect of the suit really truly works. You'd think after a few hours they'd end up with poop smeared all over their bottoms, but they don't. It's all collected into a nice little pocket with a tiny diaper and none of it ever touches the suit or her body. This is a great design and I've just ordered the patriotic version and also a blue fleece one for when the weather cools down. We got the Jr-Small size for our young lady. The many available sizes make it easy to get a well fitting suit.

this item is the best pet item ive ever bought, the first day i put the suit on my conure she nibbled at it the entire day, but i couldnt help but be greatful for not having someone tap me on the shoulder to say i had droppings on me. Now i take her more places in the public than i did before, and she so smart now she looks forward to me putting the suit on because she knows she going out on the town. The only downfall about the product is that she damaged the material with her sharp nails so now it has snaggs all over it, but ots worth it and it definately does what it promises to do
