It was great to hear the original actors in this short film. My wife enjoys popping in Toy Story 1 to relax. I thought this might be a nice addition. It's ok. For what it was, it was cute, had some funny bits (that the kiddos probably won't get).

It's fine for a quick peek at what's going on with our Toy Story friends. Bottom line for me though, is for the money there are more entertaining Pixar shorts out there and this was a bit of a letdown.

Reading this to my wife, to find out her thoughts, she said she thought it was really funny. So, to each his own.

my son likes this, but not as much as he likes the hawaiian short. I have begun to think of the toy story themes as a little more sophisticated and I wish I hadn't shown my three year old son the entire suite until he was 5 or 6. This one in particular hits on the same themes as toy story 3 which is mainly about the worry of being given away or rejected. And although perfectly acceptable themes for older kids i think the imagination of three year olds, without the ability to reason to much, makes this kind of scary. At least it does for my kid.

It's a good short but I don't think it's as good as the other Toy Story Shorts.

I sat down on the couch, called my kids in and the first thing they yell out "yay another Toy Story". "Small Fry" is another Toy Story short offering in my opinion a shortened parody of what happened in Toy Story 3 with a little bit of both Toy Story 1 and 2. New characters provide a new side to the concept of living toys from the perspective of a kids meal or "happy meal" toy. It is enjoyable, funny, and I will gladly watch it over and over. If you love the movies; you will certainly love this 7 minute short film.

Although this is short, the cartoon is fun and snappy. The humor is clever and both children and adults will find something that will tickle their funny bone. All the original voice actors return which lets you know that this isn't just a cheap cash grab like Disney often does with their sequels that are straight to video disc. My daughters have watched this over and over again because they love the quick story and characters. It is definitely worth the small price of admission to own the video.

I had a free promo credit from Amazon, so watched this one with it. In short, it was good as a freebie, but I would have been mildly ticked to pay $3-$5 for it. It was short, but full of the typical Pixar-quality comedy. My main complaint was that it was short on scenery... and yes, I am well aware of how hard it is to produce these scenes. I just think this would have been great as part of a compilation movie with lots of other Pixar shorts, not one I'd pay to see on its own.

I love all three of the Toy Story Toons (Small Fry, Partysaurus Rex, Hawaiian Vacation) even more than the full-length movies, which is saying a lot. Small Fry involves Buzz joining a support group for discarded fun meal toys and the different characters they came up with for the support group are hilarious and very clever. Tae Kwon Doe is a family favorite, as well as T-Bone and Gary Grappling Hook.
