  • Uses Cellular and GPS Technology - Designed to be used in conjunction with cell towers and GPS satellites, all you will need to operate this simple beauty is a pre-paid SIM card. The iTrack 2.0 uses up to 32 satellite channels and cellular towers for accuracy within 10 feet.
  • 2 Month Battery Life - The iTrack 2.0 comes equipped with a long life Lithium-Ion battery that last up to 2 months on a single charge. Yet it takes only 6 hours to recharge (12 hours for the first use).
  • Amplified GPS & Cellular Antennas - If you're looking for stonger reception in rural areas, these antennas will amplify the signal by more than double the average tracking devices capabilities.
  • Multiple Tracking Modes - You have the option of setting your iTrack 2.0 to report its location as often as every 10 seconds or every 4 hours - it depends on how often you want the iTrack 2.0 to report its precise location. You can also use the On Demand tracking feature - the iTrack 2.0 only reports its location when prompted - to extend battery life.
  • Geo-Fencing - Have a wiley teenager? You can pre-set a Geo-fence zone to alert you every time Timmy the Teenager goes outside a specified zone - Timmy will never be able to go to the wrong side of tracks without your knowledge. Product Description

Specifically designed with Joe the Plumber in mind, the iTrack 2.0 is easier to use than a cell phone and cheaper to operate than most GPS services on the market. There aren't any "special" codes to memorize and you won't need to take any college-level computer courses to learn how to use it. If you can use Google or Yahoo maps, you'll find where your iTrack 2.0 is - quickly and accurately.

Motion Activated
The iTrack 2.0 can be programmed to start reporting down to every 10 seconds while in motion. This feature is extremely useful if you own a fleet of plumber's vans or if you just want to know where Timmy is going with your car. The iTrack 2.0 will automatically return to Hibernate mode when not in motion.

  No Software to Buy
You never have to download or fiddle with complicated software. Simply enter the latitude and longitude of the location report on any mapping software such as Google Earth to find the iTrack 2.0's location within 10 feet.

Protection
No GPS unit would be complete without a waterproof case and a way to mount it, that's why the iTrack 2.0 system includes a water-tight case and a magnetic mount for external vehicle caching.

I bought two of these cameras, and both had the exact same flaws. Cheap, flimsy casing, infrared button didn't work, record button didn't work, and the on/off power button only turned the camera on, not off. The only thing that worked right was the laser pointer.

I initiated a return, and the next day I received an e-mail from the company, ElectroFlip, which sells this camera. In the e-mail, the company apologized, offered me a full refund, and then, to my surprise, defended their product by claiming that their cameras are "usually reliable." I don't know who they're trying to fool, but I'm not going to buy from a company that claims their product is "usually reliable". It's like buying an airplane that's guaranteed to crash half the time.

I sent an e-mail back to the company letting them know that the cameras were both junk and that they both had the same defects. That's when the OWNER of ElectroFlip started responding back to me. He told me that it was China's fault that the cameras they sell are defective. He said that he buys batches of products from China and that half the batches he receives are of bad quality. Here is the e-mail he sent me.

Begin Message:

We order products from China factories. Sometimes their quality control is very good, but not always. It seems, we get all good quality or all bad quality each time we get another shipment. We call each shipment of the same product a "batch". We have been selling this product for about 3 years, mostly good quality, but sometimes the factory really screws up.

All I wanted was to return these cameras and move on, but I couldn't help but wonder how a company which knows that fifty percent of its inventory is useless, wouldn't have anybody working there who is smart enough to check witch batches are full of defective electronics, and then ship those batches back to China before they end up getting listed onto Amazon. So I sent an e-mail back to the owner and told him that he shouldn't put the blame on other people. I basically implied that his company should accept responsibility for the quality of its products. That bruised the owner's ego quite a bit. Here is the next e-mail he sent me.

Well, all I can do is give you the facts. I have been in customer service since 1985, when I built my company in my basement to a now $8 million dollar biz. Give us bad feedback, or whatever. I will see you get your money back in full, but your attitude, cant help you! Have a good life!

End Message:

When you sell me two $110.00 cameras that I can only use as expensive paper weights, and I ask to return those paperweights(cameras), just handle the return like a professional and leave your companies integrity out of it.
