Barbra Does A Wonderful Job On This Classic Made Famous By Frank Sinatra, With A Simple Twist Or Turn Of Phrase She Makes The Song Special!! You Can Hear The "Been There" In Her Voice...The Actress That Sings!!!!

This song is infectious in its grip on the heart and ear. Slyly Ms. Streisand wraps her voice around the soul and before you know it, you've been transported to a smokey den. Inebriated by just a sip, you stumble yet won't let go of the liquid that warms. You never anticipated a siren's call, but she's got you, you're hooked.

This song is simply beautiful, and it is great to hear that beautiful voice sounding as great as ever. I have always liked this song, But Barbra has made it her own and now I love it!

Barbra Streisand sends her voice swimming around the musical notes. Her sound, phrasing, her diction, makes this standard song hers. Here's to you Barbra, you show singers... just how is done!

Barbra never ceases to amaze me. As an artist she truly knows what she wants to create, her artistry is hers alone. Streisand fans have been talking about this album for weeks now and here is the first single. A collection of beautiful songs, with the sublime arrangements of Johnny Mandel and collaborative effort of Diana Krall. I am truly beside myself waiting for this album to be released.

An Artist that needs needs no introduction, Streisand is a legend in her own right. Her rendition of "In the Wee Small Hours of the Morning" is just beautiful. There's nothing wrong with a Jazz flavored album and Barbra's voice is warm and rich, aged to perfection!

Is Columbia sure they can't release the album any sooner?

So much for retirement...after the last CD with Barry Gibb I thought it will be a long time before another CD comes out from her; man was I wrong(thanks Dad telling me about the CD). I have only heard the sample song here, but just after 30 seconds of a sample I'm already hooked. I will be buying the whole CD a little later after it come out in a couple of weeks from now; by then there will be so many reviews and I know there will be countless 5 star ratings. She's been one of my favorite singers for many years and will be many more after that, long after she truly retires. I have other reviews on Ms.B.S

Now that I have bought this, I like it alot. I have the double disc version. I would recommend this to all fans.
