I have used this in several of my cars. It is very useful for the times when the sun is at approximately the driver's side front windshield pillar. The car's sun visor can be placed over the top of the driver's side window and the Sun Glide pulled down, as needed, on the front windshield. Pulled half way down (resulting in doubled protection) is especially helpful when the sun is low in the sky, but not yet at the horizon.

I have installed two of these in my van. Very easy to install, just clean your inside windshield area, use the included adhesive onto the glass and press on the shade. It helps in both the driver's side and passenger's side for when the sun is at approximately about to hit the horizon. I don't even need to use the car's sun visor. The Sun Glide pulls down very easily, as needed. My wife is extremely happy with it. She said, "With all the gadgets you buy, this is my favorite, now buy a set for the other car."
