5.0 out of 5 stars My Little Chef
We bought this set for our daughter when she was 14-months. She loves the cookware so much and she uses every piece of the set. She loves to stir pretend things in the pots, then gives us a taste, to which we must reply "mmmmmm." We've only had the cookware for a few months, but all of the pieces seem to be durable and are withstanding my daughter's constant play.

3.0 out of 5 stars Review
Make sure you realize that the food does not come with this set. Kind of expensive for what you actually get. There are other sets that compare with same quality and contain more, search amazon first.

2.0 out of 5 stars Cookware Much Too Small, September 4, 2011

I bought this cookware for my 3-year-old grandaughter, who was completely disinterested in the toy. For a start, the pots and pans are too small to actually "pretend cook" with. I also bought another item from Small World Living Toys; plastic veggies, that I assumed were shown with the cooking set. In the photo, it shows several vegetables in one pot. In reality, you could hardly fit one vegetable into the pot. The pots are extremely small. I would have returned it, but it was a gift for her birthday. Maybe her one-yr-old brother will play with it.

This is a pretty good set of pots and pans... the only problem I have with it is that the "knife" that it comes with seems a little dangerous for a kid if she/he is running around with it, so I took it away, but the rest of the set is cute. Also, it does not come with any food (despite what it shows in the picture).

I was really mad when I saw there was no food included in this toy. I see now that food is not listed in the description but ALL of the pictures have food even t he picture on the box the toy comes in. I would not have bought it if I knew this.

The product photo illustrates food comes with the set, IT DOES NOT. You only find this out after purchasing and finding this in the very fine print hidden on the outside of the box in colors that blend in with the label!!! Very cruel and expensive for what you get!!

3.0 out of 5 stars Same size scale as most pretend kitchens, November 9, 2011

I'm going to immediately jump into the Pros/Cons for this product:

Pros:
1 - Size is scaled to the same ratio as many pretend kitchens (such as Fisher-Price Dora Fiesta Favorites Kitchen)
2 - Comes with 5 utensils - most are uncommon to find in other sets
3 - One of the pots has a locking lid (twists into the handles to secure it)

Cons:
1 - It does not come with the food pictured - not a single piece
2 - The frying pan doesn't match the pots (Why would it be green w/ pink when the pots are blue with pink?)

Final input - there is nothing "wrong" with this set. For me, it was the utensils that was the high point. The mismatch color of the frying pan from the rest of the set (sans the utensils that had green handles) bothers me some. That said, I would likely consider the KidKraft Metal Accessories Set instead - it looks much nicer and includes some play food as well.

The items are very cute. The tools that the product package came with seem like a great size for little hands (2-4year old). The pots and pan, however, are very small. I would say the width of the biggest pot is about 5 1/2 inches. I would have liked to have known how small they were before buying them. I feel for the price I could have bought something at Toys R us that was larger (and able to fit multiple play food items in it. The play food items we have are a little more real size than miniature. If you have fairly small play food this set would probably be great.
Prompt delivery, and well packaged.

I love this set but I also purchased food sets on the assumption that the food pictured was included since no where in the descriptions does it say, food not included. Besides that, its a great set! We are thoroughly enjoying all of the Small World Living Toys pretend food sets and definitely recommend it over the other cheaper sets.

I recently purchased a Little Tikes Super Chef Kitchen to have at my house for my grandchildren. This kitchen came with a frying pan and a coffee pot, but no cooking utensils. I purchased this set primarily for the utensils. I find the quality of the pots and pans to be excellent. The lid of the large pot actually locks on so it could even be a pretend pressure cooker. I have also purchased 3 sets of Small World food. They seem to produce a quality product. I have been pleased with everything.
