This set, and others by this company are great play food sets! Much better quality than I was expecting! I had expected the regular flimsy plastic food pieces, and was very surprised. The pieces are all hard plastic. You can't push them in, so they're not going to end up with chew marks in them right away if you have smaller kids around. The pop top to the tuna can is a bit flimsy, and the margerine tub are more flimsy, but it's not a big deal. The quality of the rest of the set makes up for it! It's the sandwich pieces that are the major toys, anyway. I recommend the play food sets by this company! They're much better quality than the cheaper sets!

i havent given this to my 2year olds yet. its much smaller than i thought it would be. in the photo the bread, meat, tuna etc all looks a normal size. but its more like bite size. im going to keep it though, its still cute ill just have to wait till their older.

How much fun is it to assemble your own sandwich! The Velcro in the middle of each piece makes them stay together. The tuna can even has a pop top! I'm not sure if we received 4 slices of cheese, or if the luncheon meat and the cheese look alike, but my grandson doesn't seem to notice. I purchased this set with two other Small World sets - the peel and slice fruits and vegetables. I later purchased a set of pots and pans with utensils. I am impressed with the quality of the Small World items. I was not familiar with them before this, but I will now think of them as a quality toy producer as I do Little Tikes and Fisher-Price

When we got this toy for my 2 year old, she was not very interested. At that time my older child was. 6 months past, and my a bit older 2 year old loves making us sandwiches. She knows what is a cucumber or a tomato... All the "food" articles have a velcro in a middle and stick together. It's nice. It doesn't fall apart or fall on a ground. We have this toy since march of 2010 and it's still looking great.

My 4 year old daughter loves to play "kitchen" and this sandwich combo is a BIG hit!!! Has all the right trimmings AND has the velcro to keep it together. I would definitely recommend buying. Plus, it reinforces HEALTHY eating!!!

This product is very good sturdy quality and looks life like. The kids love to make meals in their kitchen, keeps them busy. I like this better than the wooden products as it seems more real.

I love this toy! It is so cute. Everything looks so realistic. The lid to the can pops off which is fun but has proven to not be very durable. But, overall the rest of the product is great and very durable. I think it was a great deal for the money.

For Christmas we gave my daughter a kitchen play set, with it we gave her this. She has absolutely loved this set. The products look very realistic and are very sturdy. The velcro is one sided, so it will not stick to velcro of the same color, however it does stick pretty well on the side that is supposed to stick. The tuna can is a bit hard to open and I am fairly certain the lid is going to break as the tab shows some signs of strain. Other than that it's a nice play set.

I never knew just how entertaining a fake can of tuna could be until I watched my 2 year old sit for almost a full half-hour making fake sandwiches with this set!

The plastic is heavy-duty and very durable, and the velcro sticks well. This is a great, high-quality and educational set for young kids.

LOVE this brand of toy food for my two year old, even my 13 year old gets a kick out of playing with the toy food with the little ones in the home. Got my son a few basic food items, and in addition to fruits and veggies thought a "sandwich making set" was a must. Have not been disappointed, good quality food, velcro feels strong enough, kids are having a lot of fun with this, would buy again. Bigger size than many other brands, and the set came in a big box which made it a nice looking gift for Christmas.
