This toy set is great! I gave it to my 3 year old who is just enamored with pirates right now, and he has not stopped playing with it. He's had it over a month. EVERY SINGLE DAY he wears his pirate hat and puts his gold doubloons in his treasure chest we have for him. Some days he's Captain Hook, and others he's Pirate Dominic and my husband and I are made to "Walk the Plank!" You can't expect the highest quality for the price, but for what I wanted, this is absolutely perfect. It's definitely good enough quality for him to play with it everyday and not fall apart, but it's cheap enough that if it does get broken or something gets lost, it's not the end of the world and is easy enough to replace.

This was a present for my nephew's 3rd birthday. He loved it! He wore the eye patch, hat and hook for at least thirty minutes before moving on to other new birthday toys. I think this was a big hit and definitely worth the $18 I spent.

My 4 year old grandson received this for his birthday. He loves it. Just perfect for pretending...the only thing that would make it even better would be if the treasure chest could open up for the "treasures".

This is a good pirate set for those who are not sure if your kids are into pirates or not. It has all the necessary pieces but my son was very disappointed that the treasury chest could not open.

Our 3 year loves to play pirate (Jake and the Neverland Pirates) and this set works great! The hat is hard plastic which I thought our son wouldn't like. But I was wrong. He loves it. The hat, sword, and hook are what he plays with. Everything else kinda went in the toy box.
Previous reviews said the sword was very cheap and broke easily. It is plastic, it is a toy. So far with daily playing and heavy use by our 3 year old it has been just fine. He even hits stuff with it. The hook is so fun for him. He loves to pretend he is Captain Hook with it. He will hand you the sword and duel with you as hook.
This set isn't a high priced high quality pirate set, its a childs set that is worth the money though. I would recommend purchasing this set for the younger pirate.

My kids love this pirate set! Great price for the amount of different pieces that come in this set. I would recommend this my kids are 4 and 5 and just love the pirate theme thanks to Jake and the Neverland Pirates. This was a perfect gift.

I paid $20 for this and in one day all that is left that isnt broken is the hat and hook. I dont recommend this, although my son loves wearing the pirate hat all the time.

My son (3 1/2yrs)loves Jake and the Neverland Pirates on Disney Junior. Unfortunatly there is no merchandise out there for this show. When i stumbled across this gift set I was so excited to get it for him. Almost everything broke immediately and i paid almost $40. The only thing standing is the Hat, sword and scope. Everything else we had to glue or throw away and the little treasure chest is plastic, hallow and it does not open. He loves the set don't get me wrong I just wish it were made more durable

This is a great pirate kit, especially for the price! It's better quality than you'll find in the store for around the same price. Our pirate club needed misc pirate gear for an even and we got several of these. They even endured abuse from rambunctious college students!

I bought this toy for my 8 year old for Christmas. He LOVES it! It is much better quality than I thought it would be. If you're looking for a pirate set for your child, I would recommend this one. It's much better than some cheap set you'd find in the store. I highly recommend this product!
