These medals are fine if you need to buy a large quantity of inexpensive medals to give out to a large group (I needed 240 of them to give out at a Girl Scout service unit campout with an Olympics theme). Don't expect them to be particularly durable.

My kids used these for their neighborhood kid olympics and they got a charge out of receiving them. The quality is cheap, but that is expected in just about everything these days. Worked well for our needs. If you are using these to present to a team or other more formal function, I would stay away from these.

These medals are great for fun little prizes. I've used these for adult or kid prizes for various events. They're not specific to anything so you can use it for any occasion. Everyone likes to get a gold medal!

Gave these out to the winning team of a contest I held. The gold medal is made of plastic, which was a little bit lighter and smaller then I had anticipated. But for a cost (currently at $3.41 for 12) of less then $0.30 each they are definitely worth it.

Children earn these swim medals at Donna's Dolphins swim school for learning and doing an excellent job on new swim skills learned!
They are proud of them and love to wear them during the week and telling people about their accomplishments here at our school!!
