Product Description

Raised 18" off the ground, the Smart Air Beds Diamond Top Elite Raised Pillowtop Air Bed gives you elite comfort for a great night's sleep, which is why we stake claim to the title - BEST AIR BED! Complete with a soft flocked top sleep surface, this air bed is raised so you or your guests are up off the floor, away from any cold drafts. Engineered with diamond top construction, this air bed gives you the feel of a luxurious high priced mattress without spending hundreds, even thousands on a bed. The 23 gauge (.60 mm) super-thick, water proof flocked top and 14 gauge (.35 mm) sides and bottom give this air bed 600 lbs. weight capacity. The whole bed has expertly electronically welded seams for long lasting quality. The handheld powerful ETL listed A/C pump can have the mattress ready from box to bed in about 4 minutes. The pump, which is external and detachable, can be used to inflate other inflatables as well. The bed uses standard queen sheets (not included), and the fitted sheet is aided by the flocked topping and a well placed horizontal groove along all sides to limit sheet slippage. Patented anti-roll edges on the sides and at the foot and the head of the bed are a little bit higher, keeping you on the bed and off the floor. When you're ready to pack the item up, simply open the patented 2-in-1 valve to release the air, roll and fold, and store the item neatly in the included storage bag - easy to keep in a linen closet, under a desk (for those of you who take naps at work) or anywhere with limited space.

Just outside the warranty, of course.

Upon arrival, I inflated the unit per instructions (several times, also per instructions) and then left it overnight to test.

Also, it came with a detachable pump, which still works.

Contacted the seller before purchasing the item to make sure this is what I wanted. I just moved into a new place and needed a temporary bed for a few weeks while waiting for my furniture arrive. First thing I noticed about this bed is that its heavy. I've had air beds before and they've always seemed light and flimsy. This one is heavy, maybe 25 lbs. Everything came as expected including the separate pump (which if you have pets, they are going to run because it is a bit loud). Inflated the bed, and all I can say is wow. This is nothing like the other beds I've owned. It's got some meat to it, and the pillowtop feels really good. Probably took about 4-5 minutes to inflate, but the process was easy and painless. It's definitely going to serve my purpose, and if I can figure out how to roll it up to fit in that carry bag, I should be able to store it for guests.

Inflates easily, full queen size as specified and queen size linens fit OK. I use it for guests in my guest bedroom. My guest reported that it's very comfortable after sleeping on it for a week. It's raised to a height that makes it easy for the sleeper to get on and off it. I added a 1.5" thick memory foam mattress topper (available from Walmart & other stores) and quilted mattress pad, and those additions improved the comfort level even more and provide insulation so the sleeping surface is not so cold when the thermostat is turned down. Supplied air blower will deflate as well as inflate. I've not tried to deflate & store it as yet so cannot comment on the ease of doing that.

This is much more comfy than the intex queen I have. Only problem with this is deflating.really horrible time getting it deflated and folded. They made the pump nozzle too short so flapper does not stay open. Intex has a great pump design but does not hold pressure thru the night. This one overall holds pressure and comfy. Just don't expect to deflate fast. Really smart air did you test this before starting production run? if you have to fold and unfold often, this is not the one. go with intex. no returns on this smart air either.

This mattress sprung a leak in four months - patched the leak and when we filled it again, it turned into a huge ball, round on the bottom and the top. This is the third air mattress we have tried. They are very comfortable but they don't hold the sheets well (if at all) and none of them lasted long. Once they start leaking, it is the beginning of the end. So I am back to a regular mattress tomorrow.

I cannot recommend this item based on my experience. While the product may work for most, I am one of the group that is returning it for air leaking. Upon arrival, I inflated the unit per instructions (several times, also per instructions) and then left it overnight to test. The bed was very soft (without load) the next day. I re-inflated and checked the intake seals (based on some reviews mentioning this as a potential trouble spot) but had to leave for a trip. Left it on the lving room floor inflated for extended test. Upon return, the upper air compartment of the bed was about 50% inflated (no load). Without doing a leak test, I would not be able to identify the source of the leak (but suspect that it is around the air intake).

Amazaon's return policy is the best as they took it back without any hassle.

the real problem with this air mattress is that it doesn't really hold air. going to sleep at night is weird because you end up tossing and turning as the air slowwlly is let out of the mattress. by morningtime the mattress will start bunching up causing uncomfortableness.

the mattress was a little dirty when it came to my apartment. i actually had to wash it just to get the grime off but i understand that it comes from a factory and whatnot.

another problem with this mattress is that the pump is very annoying to operate. you have to press and hold the pump the entire time everytime you want the mattress to inflate it gets very tedious watching the mattress every slowly inflate. also the sound it makes when inflating is so loud!

this is just a temporary solution for me regardless so I can live with it for now.

I moved back to the US earlier this year and needed a temporary bed until I could buy a proper mattress. I purchased this product based on the reviews that indicated it was a good product and the seller offered excellent customer service - and was glad I did. After about a week with this air mattress, it started to deflate every night, even though I filled it up. I called customer service and within 2 days I had a brand new replacement, which worked perfectly. The associate explained there is a certain percentage of air mattresses that always have some slight defects, but if one of those gets shipped, they will happily replace it for free. The replacement worked perfectly for the next two months until I packed it up after buying a proper bed. So, if you're looking for a temporary bed, and the benefit of excellent customer service should anything go wrong, this is the bed for you.

This is a heavy duty bed and it was comfortable for a couple hours. Very thick material and really heave. But by the end of the first night's use, I was nearly on the ground. I seemed to be leaking right around the fill nozzle, but I couldn't tell exactly where. I followed the instructions to fill it up three time without putting weight on it, but that didn't make a difference. I may have just gotten a lemon, but I sent it back to Amazon for the refund. I'm still looking for a bed that will last more than a couple nights without leaking.
