Wonderful and worth the money, November 2, 2009
This review is from: Smart Air Beds 5 x 1 Inflatable Sofa Bed (Regal White) - Full Size (Kitchen)
This has been my lifesaver! My husband is in the military and with the amount of times we move, just knowing we can fold this up, throw it in a bag and take it where ever we go is great! We have just moved again and didn't have our couch to watch Television, so this is perfect because we can sit down and watch TV comfortably. I have also been using it as a bed and it has not started to deflate on me at all! I've had this for about three months now. I also love the electric pump, it fills the sofa/bed up relatively fast considering the size. I've been using this daily now for three months and I have no complaints at all. It has been my sofa in the day, a lounger when I need to study, a recliner, and a bed at night. I throw my king size comforter over it during the day and no one ever realizes that it is inflatable. ;)

A good deal for the price you pay..., December 19, 2009
This review is from: Smart Air Beds 5 x 1 Inflatable Sofa Bed (Regal White) - Full Size (Kitchen)
We bought this air filled sofa 2 weeks back. We didn't want to spend too much money buying a couch etc.. since i didn't know how long i'll be in US, so we got this. The package was delivered on time and suprisingly the package was smaller than i expected.
It barely took 3-5 mins to inflate this thing up.
Doesn't feel like its air filled at all, when you sit on the couch. We watch TV by making it into a recliner. You need to fill up air every 3-5 days.
Its worth the price you pay and ideal for people who don't want to spend too much. Its also very comfortable. So if you're thinking about this, i would suggest just GO FOR IT.

Good but only lasted a short time, April 29, 2010
This review is from: Smart Air Beds 5 x 1 Inflatable Sofa Bed (Regal White) - Full Size (Kitchen)
I bought this since I was moving into a studio apartment. It was meant to be temporary anyway, until I get a "real" sofa bed, but this lasted a much shorter time than I anticipated. Only 6-8 weeks. I have already had to replace it with another inflatable bed. It got a couple pin holes (which I repaired) then just kept losing air. I could not see or detect any more punctures, holes or damage. It got to the point it only would stay inflated about 3 hours at most before getting too soft and mushy. Not good for trying to sleep through the night!
Pros -
Easy to set up and use. Liked the versatility of the different positions.
Light and easy to move around when inflated.
With the electric pump, inflates very quickly.
Suprisingly comfortable both to sit and sleep on.
Cons -
Material seems lighter/weaker than other inflatables I have seen.
Heavy when deflated.
Could never get it back in the carry bag even when totally deflated.
Pump is NOISY.
I found my fitted queen size sheet was just slighly too short for the flat "queen size" bed position.
Should come with a complimentary cover that fits the sofa. I found it to be such an odd size and shape that conventional slip covers or furniture throws don't cover it correctly/totally as a sofa. (I tried two different kinds) Thane USA did have some but often is sold out.
The first month or so of use was just fine. Didn't lose air very fast, no issues -loved it. Then for the past 3 weeks or so it has been losing air more and more quickly and frequently.
If you use it in the raised kid size bed position: Make sure the arms and back of the sofa are 100% deflated and free of all air as they will be on the bottom. If not, bed will not be level to the floor and could tip over easily.
If you want this just for an occasional overnight guest or additional seating every great once in a while, then I think it could work for you just fine. I would not recommend this as your main seating or bed. I would not recommend it if you have pets (claw damage). I just don't think it is made strong enough for daily heavy use.
