I already had one set of these candles and was looking for another set when I happened on these at Amazon. I really enjoyed the first set that I got and this past Christmas I wanted to place them on my stairs in between Santas. I didn't quite have enough so I started hunting for the second set. I was able to get my first set at an outlet store for $19.99 so I did think that this second set was a little pricey compared to that. If this was the first set that I was buying I don't know if I would have paid that higher price but after having them, I bit the bullet and paid what I had to (the outlet no longer carried them) so that I could use them in more ways. I do like them very much and the little improvements that have been made in this set is definitely for the better. I like having the on/off switch on the candles. My first set did not have that and they were off when on the charger and on when you took them out of the charger. All in all a nice product that you don't have to worry about having an open flame and gives a nice effect in a dimly lit room. There are lots of ways to use these candles. I have one set on my fireplace mantle year round and when I think I want to add a little flicker elsewhere I just move them for that purpose and then put them back. The white frosted glasses goes with any color of decor and the candles inside them really looks like you have a flame burning. I am just trying to to come up with more ways to use them and now that I have an additional set I am sure that I will be able to expand that usage.

The light quality is pretty yellow and the flickering looks fake sometimes...my husband loves them though, so maybe its just me :)
