I can always count on Sunset books for good info, clear photos and good coverage on a topic. This books tells how to get the most from your closet space. I like that this doesn't just tackle the clothes closet, but also covers pantries, utility closets, craft closets and office closets.
When I hear of people renting storage facilities for their excess things, it makes me realize we need to streamline and organize. The books tells how to get more space in your closets by adding shelves and organizing systems. It also tells how to purge some of the overflow. The projects include step-by-step directions.

No holds barred, this closet makeover book is the best! Highly practical in its format, giving solutions for storage for small and large spaces, instructions and ideas are presented in a very clear way. Makeovers range from the extremely simple (adding another shelf) to the complex and everything in between. If this book doesn't inspire you to redesign your closet to suit YOUR needs, nothing will!

I bought five books on amazon to help us design a bedroom closet for our new home. This was one out of the two books that were the most helpful with unique ideas that hit really the spot. We are currently focused on the bedroom but wished we had thought of some of their ideas for the already-finished kitchen! I especially appreciated the abundance of good color pictures and that they focused more on the design than the actual construction of closets.

I learned so much about closets from reading this book. It features lots of before and after pictures and easy-to-read descriptions. It shows how to improve every aspect of a closet by addressing doors, lighting, interior layout and accessories. Then, it gives a helpful list of resources in the back.

My mission was to redo my bedroom closet, and this book made it clear what I needed to do. Now, my closet has bifold doors, interior lights plus a closet system I ordered online and installed myself.

Great color photos, lots of good info on how to organize and arrange your closets. Not only for clothes closets, but this also gives details on turning a small closet into an office, pantry, etc. Great decorative schemes, and so many ideas you won't know what to do with. I like the before and afters.

To me, a reference book is only as good as its index, and this one barely covers one page. This book is good for visual ideas and general information that you might need to purge or to address issues for your closet designer. It tries to cover too many different spaces, including a garden shed, but falls short on specific information on how to do it yourself. Borrow it from the library.

Very creative ideas, well explained, great photos, and enables the reader to take what is written and use the suggestions to think creatively about their own projects.

Unfortunately, this book never arrived in the mail. I waited until the last day the reseller said it would get here. I then sent an e-mail asking if there were any problems on their side? I very quickly received an e-mail stating they had sent it three weeks prior. They said they would send another copy or refund my money. I choose a refund and the next business day they sent another e-mail telling me the refund had already been made. I would not hesitate to order from them in the future.
