These Smart Girls games are great. There are a lot of things to do, lots of learning games, and it is easy for those younger kids who can't quite read yet. My daughter is 5, and I bought her a Smart Girls game when she was 4. She loves it and plays with it a lot, so when I saw a new one I grabbed it for the holidays. She was so excited to get another one. I played around with it and was happy to see all the different things she can do. Connect the dots, coloring, photo games, etc. Keeps her busy on trips so we don't hear "are we there yet?" and helps her wind down at the end of the day. I will continue to purchase the smart girls series, and she would probably even like the smart boys as well. Great game.

My 8 year old loves this game. Her 5 year old sister got a different party girls game for Christmas, and her older sister kept wanting to play it, so I ordered this one. What a hit! I read several reviews that older kids might not like this game, but I think it depends on the kid. Both my girls love it. A perfect game to just pick up for 5 or 10 minutes here and there.

Another Great Smart Girl's Title,

This is a great entry into the Smart Girl's series.
It's basically a mini game collection setup in a large dollhouse. Click parts of the house (all named) to start a mini game. My (nearly) four year old especially loves: RING TOSS (use the stylus to toss rings to "catch" prizes - winning a prize makes the kitty at the top of the screen happy) the COLORING game (various animated bits that you can draw around, such as a mouse peeping out of a door, or a hat being blown in the wind) GARDENING GAME (plant seeds of various shapes and then water them to watch flowers glow, when all are grown they dance) WHEN I GROW UP (match the baby animal to the one it will look like when it grows up such as - baby lion/adult lion) and there are many more, including a free play xylophone game that lets you record your songs and play them back, and a bell game where you can either freestyle ring the various bells or else choose two different background music pieces to play along with. There are other shape and matching games and so much more. It's a great game for its value and has tons of things to keep your little one happy. The graphics are bright and colorful with cute animals and happy flowers. The game gives vocal encouragement for every successfully completed task, and the music is simple but entertaining. A great game for the ages 3 to 5 set and highly recommended by me and my daughter.

Got this for my 4-year-old daughter for Christmas. She loves it. Did everything on her own without saying "mom, what does this say." Even my 7-year-old son likes it, but shhh, don't tell anyone :)

So I actually decided to give my kids an early Christmas present and they now love their DS more than me! I read some great reviews on Smart Girl's Playhouse and after doing some research, decided to get my daughter the new sequel, Smart Girl's Party Game. My 5 year old daughter has been literally glued to her seat playing this game. I was actually going through the game myself and by far, this has been one of my best investments. I bought the Smart Boy's Toys Club for my 3 year old son and him and his sister fight over the DS all day. I just need to get another DS now...

I bought this game for my nearly 6 year old daughter. She received many other games as gifts, but this is the one she loves. Not too complicated, not boring either. No reading involved. I think there are 15-18 mini-games. She loves the coloring pages, the "when I grow up" game, planting flowers, and decorating the rooms. Great for 3-7 year old girls.

My 5 year old and 3 year old LOVE this game! They could play it for hours and it doesn't require them to be able to read at all. Great game for young kids who are just starting to play video games.

I bought this for my daughter who's 5 almost 6 and it's perfect for her. She loves all the little games including the drawing, painting, decorating, and making music. There's pretty much no reading, other than the game titles, which is good because she's not quite there yet. I would highly recommend this for girls 4 to 8.

I was looking for a game with a lot of different fun choices in one spot and that is easy enough for my 5 year old to operate on her own without being able to read. This is it! Graphics are not spectacular, but it is good enough for her. Some of the games are a little difficult for even me, but I think that will make it last longer as she grows out of the easier ones. There are coloring pages and simple puzzles too, which seem to be her favorites right now. Some of the games are also fun to do with a friend, like finding the different objects or memory. It is great to see her share her game with friends. Many of the games are short too, so taking turns is easier.
