I didn't believe this foundation would make a difference in the texture and color of my skin. I'm in my late 40's, pale skin with slight rosacea. This is the perfect foundation for me - the skin tone is exactly what I'm looking for - coverage and "no makeup" look. I'm throwing away my foundation I purchased in Japan - and replacing it with this product. Thanks!

I normally use Laura Mercier. I am completely satisfied with the purchases of Almay Smart Shade and have been recommending it to everyone.. including my 19 yr old niece and 50 yr old sister in law. I also review high end cosmetics on Makeupalley..(for over 8 years now) I can honestly say on a budget or not, Almay Smart Shade Concealer and Foundation Rocks! No more department store shopping with snobby sales associates for me. I am 42 and tired of dealing with them.. Walgreens has it 40% off every now and then.. plus coupons! If you don't like it, they will even take it back 100% no questions asked. I absolutely love it!

I love this foundation! I'm using this on the heels of using Chanel's Lumiere Firming and Smoothing foundation (which is a staggering $65 per bottle) and Smart Shade Anti-Aging, in my opinion, kicks Chanel's butt. I've spent lots of money on high-end foundations and have yet to find one to adequately compare to Smart Shade Anti-Aging. It does a remarkable job of minimizing my fine lines and makes my skin look terrific when wearing it.
The available color shades are minimal but I found the perfect match, for me, to be 100. I purchased a second tube in color shade 200 to custom mix for summer and it works brilliantly.
