Editorial Reviews

Research suggests that the experiences we have in our earliest years, including active participation in music, are the key to the way we think, learn, and relate to others. In addition, classical music may also have a soothing effect, calming newborns and helping them adjust to life outside the womb.

I'm a BIG believer in playing classical music to enhance brain development! I did it for my first born and now for my second...This is a great mix of different composers. I put it on at bedtime on random and it plays all night. Some songs are really soft, while others get loud, so finding the right volume level can be tricky (for night time playing). Great Music for Great Price...

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent collection of classics, December 25, 2011

I purchased this CD for my grandson, and after hearing it, I had to have one for myself. What a great collection of the masters, and I never grow tired of hearing the same songs over and over again. "Smart Symphonies" re-introduced me to the classics that I grew up with and love. You can't go wrong with this CD, but before you buy, make sure that the cover is the same. There are other "Smart Symphonies" CDs out there but they are different.
