As a professional dog trainer I have thoroughly searched for a training video worth watching and recommending to my clients. It's rare to find one that is accurate, informational and professionally produced. Smart Training achieves these three elements like few that I've seen. It covers the essentials in dog training in a most comprehensive and comprehensible manner, providing excellent detail with images and on-screen text. I endorse it for the experienced dog enthusiast as well as for those new to dog ownership.

This is the only training video I've seen that teaches not only the training techniques but why they work. It's really "nuts and bolts" training made simple. I have a better understanding of how my dog thinks and how to get more out of her in training. I have even been able to use my electronic collar more effectively. Thanks Triple Crown.

I think this tape shows some good introductory methods, but it lacks in details in dealing with problematic behaviors. The sample dogs they used on the tape seem all being already trained, so everything looks very easy. This tape looks more like a commercial for the training company instead of a teaching tape.
