One more thing is the safety belt, the three point safety belt is far from being safe, it keeps falling from my sons shoulders no matter what setting I put it in or how much I tighten it. Nowadays, anything less then a five point harness and a Harness Clip like this one will not hold any child in place.
UPDATE (Nov 23rd 2011): My son is 1 year and three months old and has out grown the seat belt that's in it's maximal setting... Too bad :-(
The parking brake lever, that's located on the rear axle, is longer then the radius of the wheels so when you go up or down the stairs, it touches the stairs before the left wheel when going up or gust after the wheel when going down. It keeps getting bumped and I have no doubt it will break sooner rather then later.
after your child grows and you plan to take out the plastic part holding the legs of the 6 months baby, you should know that the front wheel is not protected and your baby's legs are not long enough to reach the foot pegs yet, so the legs are in the air, and it's only a matter of time till one of his legs gets clinched between the front fork and the wheel. To avoid that I usually lean on the handle to tilt the trike back so the front wheel is in the air and doesn't spin.Read more ›
If your heart is set on this particular trike and there is no changing your mind, I highly recommend getting it directly from Amazon or another seller, and NOT from Healthcheck Systems Inc. The experience I have had with Healthcheck Systems was the worst in my 12 years of online shopping. I had to exchange 16 emails with this seller (and get Amazon involved) to finally get Healthcheck to process my return and refund. Healthcheck held the returned item for 45 (!) days in their warehouse without returning my money, claiming that they could not recognize a USPS tracking number in a receipt I provided. They required me to pay for return shipping (over $30 in this case - thank you, Amazon, for covering that for me) regardless of whether the return is based on a defect or not. AND they charge a 10% restocking fee even on returns of defective products - contrary to their OWN returns/refunds policy. Save yourself from stress and annoyance - buy directly from Amazon or another seller.

Awesome until your kid wants to pedal. My son did better on a stand alone tricycle. Pedals are too short for any real leverage...Published 10 months ago by Amazon Customer

This is a great stroller trike. It's great for the price because it can be used as my nephew gets older. He has a ball on it.Published on March 3, 2014 by Tigerduca
This ended up being a return. We had a hard time keeping the trike moving in a straight line and when we needed to turn it, it was very difficult to turn.Published on February 18, 2014 by Mike M
Not a very sturdy bike. A lot of the pieces broke while putting the bike together. I bought it for my 3 year old that played with my neighbors smart trike all the time. Read morePublished on January 9, 2014 by Farnaz
