Finally a UPS without the extremely annoying audible alarm!,

The power in Southern California is not very reliable. I have Sleep Apnea and I have to use a CPAP to sleep properly. Since the power goes out too often I needed some way of using my CPAP when the power is out. We have a generator but that means I have to get up, gas it up, start it up and run an extension cord into the bed room. The generator is also noisy and when the power comes on I have to prepare the generator for storage, a lot of work especially if the power is only out for a short while. I had a really hard time finding a UPS that will always be silent. On some UPS you can silence the alarm using the software for it but they don't stay silent, it seems you have to reset the silent feature from time to time. The alarm on this UPS stays silent. I only hear a "click" and it's not very loud. Also when I'm using a UPS with a computer, I know when the power is out, I really do not need the alarm!
