In short I want to say that after reading this book, I started investing my money in something besides a a low to no interest bank account and sought ways as explained in the book to increase my net worth. This book is a must read for African Americans and anyone else who hasn't invested any money for various reasons (I should say various excuses). It has been at least 3 years since I read the book and my strategies learned from this book have been very beneficial. A great book for the amateur investor like myself with an intelligent insight of African American issues.

This book is written so everyone can understand how money works and how to make it work. It gives concise, simple and doable instructions on all facets of money management, credit use and small investing. Great advise on how ANYONE can build wealth!

I have simply been saved by the information in this book. I was put in a very practical way for me. I have already started investing and I see some decent returns. I had no knowledge on anything of a financial nature. Now I have a vision of my financial future. Thank you Kelvin Boston!!!

This book was powerful. It completely changed my life. If you don't believe that you make enough money to invest or build wealth...you are completely wrong. This book walks you step by step on building wealth and investing in your future no matter what your income level is. It is a quick read and easy to follow. I would suggest this for all African Americans young and old.

TODAY BLACK FAMILY NEEDS THIS . JUST AS FLOWERS NEED RAIN.IN FACT EVERY FAMILY NEEDS THIS. BOSTON HAS BROKEN DOWN THE BLACK FAMILY IN TO TRUTHS.YOU ARE NOT JUST WORKING FOR YOUR SELF .BUT FOROTHERS YEARS AHEAD SOMETIMES 100YRS AHEAD.EVERY DOLLAR EVERY PAYDAY IS DOLLAR AND A DREAM.HE HAS PUT THE HEADHOUSEHOLD IN POWER.GREATBOOK. I THINK THIS SHOULD BE REQUIRE READING IN SCHOOL FOR THE BLACK CHILD AS WELLL AS THE BLACK FAMILY.

In the Chapter titled "Smart Tax Moves," Boston urges readers to "stop ignoring the problem" with the IRS and implores them to "Never ignore a notice from the IRS." Yet this author has a history of failing to pay his debts and taxes...

A Great Book for starters w/ an emphasis on history regarding the investing parity among Black Americans, which includes great footnotes.
W/ a reviewer who posted more than once on this book, I'd say that speaks volumes on why this book deserves attention.

Only eye opeining data is the life expectancy of Black Men! Otherwise, a waste of Black people money.
