Our three cats pretty much ignore this. In fact, they'd rather play with the box. Reminds me of children I've known and raised! :)

It is well made and Should appeal to cats. Maybe your cat will like it. Maybe I should sell a mostly unused one here.

though it's a well-made toy, my 4 cats weren't that thrilled with it. a big part of the problem seems to be the fact that the pendulum doesn't swing very freely. i loosened up the holding screws a bit & that helped but still only minimal interest from the cats :-(

it doesn't have the bounce to continue to move back and forth and so unmotivating for the cats. I would've sent it back had it not been for the 15 or 20% restocking fee plus non-refundable shipping and the addition cost of shipping it back. I'd figure I'd lose half the cost of the item. I'd say don't buy it. I also should've checked the return policy. Restocking fee is discouraging and there's no phone number for customer service.

i never really can tell how my two cats are going to like most of the toys i choose for them. my cats are both 8 years old, but they do like to play with their toys sometimes, especially when i play with them with their toys. i was really excited about this toy/game, partly because of the mouse attached with velcro to the bottom of the pendulum -- both my cats love toy mice -- and partly because of the holes through which they can reach in and grab at the mouse and the ball attached to the pendulum-like arm. this is day #2, and they both have been playing with their Tick Tock on and off throughout both days. when i start the pendulum arm "tick tocking", their eyes are watching the mouse moving back and forth. they like the mouses tail (which is leather) and it's whiskers as well as the strands of leather attached to the top of the pendulum arm. my male cat tried several times to pull the mouse off of the pendulum arm by it's tail, but the velcro held it firmly attached. i find that i can leave this toy/game out for them all the time -- i always put their other toys away when i'm not home to supervise their play. it's very well made, very solid and sturdy -- and no rough or sharp edges. i was concerned that their arms might get stuck in the holes, but when it arrived my concerns where put to rest. both my cats weigh in the area of 14 to 15 lbs and are a little long in body length, but their arms wouldn't get stuck -- the holes are actually a good size. they have not as yet experimented with the holes, but i keep poking my fingers through them so i think they'll become interested in the holes with some time. i plan to order the box-shaped toy/game with the holes and the toys inside of it next. the only thing i'm having trouble with is that i can't locate the other velcro toys to order them. they have two other games (the classic ball in track-type) which they play with occasionally, but this one has had the best and fastest response from them and continued interest so far.

I purchased this toy for a young cat. One day I heard a commotion and went to investigate. The cat had her head stuck in the bottom curved open slot! She could not extricate her head and panicked. Although I was able to help her, it wasn't easy and was a scary experience. I don't know what would have happened if I hadn't been home. I notified the companhy that there should be a warning on the packaging that this item is not safe for kittens or young cats. I also threw out the toy because I didn't want to give it away and jeopardize another cat. Needless to say, this is not a product I would recommend.

Got this for the gang of 10, and it was a hit right out of the box. Came right before Christmas. The three youngest (4 and 5 months old) and the older Siamese (4 years old) are still fascinated by it enough that I move it out to another room at night. So far the everything is still intact; it seems very sturdily built.

The tassel seems to be the most fascinating bit; the ball and mouse below are second choice for targets. Worth the price in this household.

This toy is solidly made, and the top part didn't pull off even when my friend's toddler picked it up and carried it around by the top feathers.

My cat only plays with it if I play with him. He's so co-dependent. He did have fun pulling off the toy mouse and running off with it.

My cat chewed the tassle off before he did anything else. He batted it around for a while, but lost interest.
