This one caught us off guard! I thought the challenge was going to be placing the pieces onto the board making sure all of the penguins are in the correct places. Well, that is what you do....HOWEVER, the ice pieces actually slide and make new shapes!! That makes the challenge a lot more challenging!. So, each piece can become a couple of different shapes with a few slides of the ice pieces. It is wonderful! Your children will LOVE it!

I absolutely love this game. Was given to my daughter who is 4, obviously she was just playing with them not trying to solve the puzzles, but 4 adults where playing no-stop. Giving them away on the birthdays now! The best toy so far we own. They are so cute too!

I bought this puzzle for my sons 8 and 3 and they like this game. while older one likes to solve the puzzle, little one is just playing with it. It is safe for little kids - pieces are not small and well made. Great birthday's gift idea, penguins are so cute.

This is a challenging and engrossing toy for young and old alike. I bought one for my grandnieces, ages 9 and 6. I played it with them and loved it.

I bought this for my 6 year old and he LOVED it. He got through the first sets pretty quickly and then started getting frustrated as they got harder, but it was a great way to get him thinking. It's wonderful for problem solving. I'm always trying to find new ways to keep my boys entertained without resorting to TV and video games, and this was definitely a hit. He's definitely getting frustrated with the harder levels, but I'm looking forward to the lessons in patience and persistence as well! And since he's getting stuck on Junior level puzzles, I'm expecting this will be a long lasting game to get through ALL the levels. Would definitely recommend.

SmartGames are terrific! Great ideas, well made. I have a 4 year old and 6 year old and they love single player challenge games (less competition!). This game is well constructed, easy to learn and is challenging enough that I think it will keep my kids (and myself!) entertained for a long time (this was a birthday present for my daughter a month ago). We also have Camelot Jr. (bought 1 year ago) and Trucky 3 (bought 3 months ago) from SmartGames and I would highly recommend all games from SmartGames.

This is a puzzle game on steroids. Cool and flexible (levels run from very simple to complex and challenging even for the grownups in the family...) it will keep your youngsters busy, and working their brains out - which is a nice change in today's flat-screens age.

Initially i thought this game is good for older kid like 5 to 6. To my surprise, my 4 year old kid love it and he can play the challenges by himself. The design is cute and attractive to the kids.

It's a great game and the concept of developing thinking skills and strategic planning are all achieved. My kids are enjoying all levels of the challenges. The base is a nice heavy weight plastic that doesn't slide around while putting in the pieces. The pieces are great for small hands.
But the "storage" part is lacking! The directions say to 1-put the direction book on the game board 2-then place the puzzle pieces on top of the booklet and here's the ridiculous part..... 3- Put the plastic lid ( that the game came packed in ) over the game board and secure it all with the provided elastic strap. Really??? Such a purposeful game devolping logical thinking yet they couldn't develop a more logical solution for storing it ?

I use this activity in my Math class to help students with spatial skill reasoning. This game is suitable for all ranges of abilities and is fun too. I have seen an improvement and a transfer of problem solving to pen and paper problem solving amongst the kids who play/practise this game.
