I am posting a review on Amazon to let other's hear my experience with the Smart Reloader ISD powder dispenser and scale because when I was doing research before buying mine, there was not a lot of information out on the web.

I bought the Smart Reloader ISD powder dispenser and scale and really like it. I purchased mine at Natchez shooters supply for $165. I also looked at the RCBS Chargemaster but it was considerably more costly.

First off, I purchased the Smart Reloader ISD powder dispenser and scale for reloading rifle bullets. My plan is to use it to load 223, 308, 30-06 cartridges. For pistols, I use the Lee Pro Auto Disk Powder Measure that came with my Lee Pro 1000.
I have loaded a few batches of 223 and the Smart Reloader ISD powder dispenser and scale has worked pretty well so far. I am throwing 25.5 grain charges of Hogdon BLC-2. The dispenser works well after it is calibrated and the trickle speed and interval are set up. The documentation that comes with the product is not very helpful and does not mention how to set up the trickle speed and interval, but the company has posted some videos on Youtube and the company website to help owners out and really describes how to operate the dispenser.

The Smart Reloader ISD powder dispenser and scale is a worthy investment if you are loading lots of cartridges and want them to be uniform in powder capacity. I didn't time how long it took to dispense my load, but it seemed like 15-20 seconds for each cartridge, but once again that is dependent on how you set your trickle and interval time.

In the end the Smart Reloader ISD powder dispenser and scale does what it is advertised to do and it does it less than the nearest competitor.

After adjusting the trickle and interval I am extremely pleased with this unit. If you do not adjust this 2 things you will be highly frustrated and pulling hair out. Instructions don't explain how to do this but the company has put videos on youtube to explain both adjustments. Check out the videos before sending it back.

Verified Purchase
This unit did not live up to its name. The quality and workmanship were at best fair. I sent it back the second day I had the unit. It was difficult to use and the documentation was very limited. After researching the unit on the internet I was very surprised because the reviews on the internet were very good and thorough. Since the unit is new on the market maybe the manufacturer will update their literature and make the necessary changes. I am going try one more unit and then if that does not work I will just stay with a manual scale. I purchased this unit from Amazon. I will say that Amazon is very good about returning their products.

I purchased this product from Natchez about a year ago for $165, but never got around to trying it out until a couple of weeks ago when I needid some extremely accurate loads for .308 and 300 win mag. Although a little confusing to follow the instructions I finally got it working and zipped thru 60 or 70 rounds before it started acting a little funky and would start slowing down during the pour, then speed up to normal. Shortly it would begin to freeze up during a pour. Commands on the keyboard started either refusing to do anything, or doing something randomly. Very frustrating. Since I bought it a year ago I don't have a receipt, so I don't know whether or not they will fix or replace it. If not, the RCBS Chargemaster combo looks attractive, but about twice the price. I could always use the ISD for a boat anchor, but it would probably float.
