I first discovered Smart Wool socks one winter here in Minnesota when my feet were cold all day at work and I was miserable. I went to our local branch of a sporting goods co-op and asked the clerks for help. When they pointed me in the direction of Smart Wool, I insisted I couldn't get those because wool makes me itch. They promised these would not so I took a chance.

Am I ever glad! They were right. I can wear these socks without itching. Now I don't wear them only in the winter, I wear them with casual slacks and jeans all year long. Locally I can only get them in black so I'm excited to see the colors available on Amazon.

My only complaint is that they don't seem to last as long as nylon socks (I wear them out at the heel), but the difference in comfort makes up for that.

My feet have always been cold. I can't believe the difference when I wear the smartwool socks. I am recommending them to others.

I discovered smartwool a few years ago for hiking socks that prevented blisters and kept my feet dry on long hikes here in the Cali sun. But I found these more dressy socks on a trip to new york and I wore holes in my first pair, so I bought 3 more on amazon. I wear them with everything, with casual athletic shoes, with birkenstocks, under boots, pretty much with just about anything. They are fantastic for travel, dry quickly in a hand wash. superb and awesome socks!

I'm not overly fond of the cable socks. They tend to fall down, and are not as cushioned as other SmartWool socks I own.

The company that I ordered them from is fast and excellent (Altrec). The socks are fashionable and keep my feet warmer than cotton socks, but they aren't super warm. I wear them to work and they are perfect for that.

Great warmth, very comfortable and cool colors.

Shipping was great and no problems associated with it. I would order from them again no problem.

Have been wearing Smart Socks for years purchased from retail stores. No problem with them ever. Purchased 3 pairs from Amazon recently. The two black pairs sent from Amazing Socks are fine, but the brown pair from eSource Wellness produced two holes on the same sock the second & third time I wore them. One on the top of the foot and other on back of heel.

These socks are warm and comfy yet not too thick so they fit easily into most shoes unlike many other wool socks..

Smart wool socks are wonderful for keeping feet warm in the winter months. Even the dress socks which are thinner work great.

I like to have a couple pairs of high quality socks for times when I need socks that keep my feet warm without adding a lot of bulk to my shoes or boots. These socks are great because they are comfortable, keep my feet warm but not sweaty and don't add bulk to my shoes. They wash well and maintain their shape and size. I wash them with my other clothes on a regular cycle they keep performing as promised. I cringe at the price of the socks but like I said, I keep a couple pairs for times when such socks are needed. I wear them to work on days when I know the building will be cold. I really love these socks.
