I'm an athlete and I have been wearing these SmartWool socks for years. They're great for running, walking, biking, working out and even light hiking. They're nice and thin on the top of the foot and well-padded on the toe, ball and heel of the foot. They wash well and dry quickly. Their wicking capabilites are awesome. I've never gotten a blister when I've worn them. And they have done serious duty.

The value is tremendous. I've recently retired 2 pairs that were 3+ years old. I have 2 more pair that are 2 years old and they're in great shape. And I totally abuse my socks and shoes.

I just love these socks. For a thinner sock, say for running, I highly recommend their ultra-light model.

I'm a new recreational cyclist with a history of being an athlete in other sports like baskeball, softball, running, etc. I love these socks! SmartWool Micros are my favorite sock to wear for working out, cycling, etc. FIVE stars! I've worn these socks in Mesa AZ, cycling in over 90-95degree heat and they are amazing! There might be better cycling socks out there that I haven't met but so far these are my FAVs. I try to find them below $11 as often as I can.

I can't tell you how much I love these socks. They are my favorite and wash up great! Very comfortable and almost disappear in your shoe.

Once you try Smart Wool you will never go back. These socks are a life savor. I do a ton of hiking, running, and working out. The socks wick moisture, keep my feet cushioned and free of blisters. When it's cold they keep me warm, when it's hot they don't make it hotter. They are by far my most favorite socks! Even if I wear sandals to hike, I wear smart wool socks so that I don't blister.
