I had a press from Sharper Image for years which was great until it died. I replaced it with this and it is OK; the pants press well but you can't stick the pants thru the press so that it only presses the bottoms of the legs.

When I ordered a valet stand from this company, the stand arrived with some pieces missing. Two months later, I still do not have all of the pieces. I have called and emailed. I got a package that was supposed to have all the pieces that I needed only to find out that all of the pieces were not in the box. Not only that, but the piece that I did receive was cracked on both ends and the cracks were marked over with a black sharpie!! The stand is of mediocre quality. I wouldn't be as unhappy if I could get the pieces that I needed to put it together. This has been a purchase that I regret, to say the least. I will never....ever...buy anything from Smartek again! I would suggest buying from other companies...unless of course you like banged up products and terrible customer service. This was supposed to be a perfect gift for my hubby. Instead, it has turned out to be a headache. Thanks, Smartek!!

First, UPS had it going in circles. It actually hit the original PA site FOUR TIMES before email to UPS finally got it started out of the loop. It took FOREVER to get here. About 3 weeks.

The Smartek ST-X22 does a decent job of pressing pants. It's a good looking item. But the USB outlet isn't working even though the power is plugged in to the wall. There are TWO cords from this thing. One apparently powers the pants press plate and the other powers the AC outlets and USB outlets. That makes it look cluttered wherever you place it. It has to be close to the wall AND have access to 2 AC outlets.
Has plenty of space for coins, etc. I like that a lot. Has a little wooden "lid" which covers that area. Neat!
Is it worth $299?? No, not really. Maybe $150 or $200 at most.
And, I'm going to have to take the electrical area apart and see if I can fix this brand new item so I can use the USB outlets to charge my iPhone.
Would I buy it again? Hmmm... probably not. Or maybe....

My wife is so happy my pants will always have its place and all my coins, wallet, cell phone, i pod, bluetooth, it even has a shoe space, Best of all it has wheels so you can move it easy,

Brooklyn based Smartek shipped the wrong color and when I tried to reach them by phone, got a recording so I left a message but never heard back from them. The unit takes some wrinkles out, but definitely not worth the money. The only reason I did not leave one start is because the unit does actually turn on.

I absolutely love the Pants Press. First off, it looks great in our bedroom and fits in nicely with the rest of the décor. The nifty little extras are great. I found the USB outlet and knickknack holder very useful because I can charge my Iphone and put my keys in a safe place so I don't have to run around looking for them. The pants press itself is great too!! within a couple minutes I have a beautiful crisp pair of pants. I highly recommend it for anyone that wants to look sharp every day.....

The Smartek pants press arrived before expected and in perfect condition. What a pleasure. Since this is a big and heavy item I was a little concerned. It was packed well and easy to take out and assemble.

Mahogany finish gives a nice appearance and matches the furniture decor. The press works well and heats up quickly. What I really like is the USB charging port and outlets. I am always looking for places to plug my gadgets into. Rolling wheels. WOW! what more can I ask for? The press can zip around the room when needed.

While it was easy to put together and self explanatory, the manual was only so so.

all in all, ENJOY! it's a buy.

This product really saved my marriage!
How many times did my wife (sorry sweetie for airing our laundry in public) yell at me for leaving my papers all over the place. That my pants is not folded and the next morning looks like it came out of a thrift store. That I have loose change all over the dresser (choking hazard).
And how about me always looking for my chargers and where I plugged them into - if its my cellphone, blackberry, iPod etc.

This item was DEFINITELY designed for the guy on the go, a guy who needs it all.

I would highly recommend this product for EVERY guy, young and old. It will make THE BEST GIFT for any guy. Ladies, imagine a clean bedroom without the sight of your husbands pants hanging on a chair (or on the floor) change all over the place etc. Get it for your husband / boy friend - it will be like the time by wife told me when I got home on my birthday "Happy birthday honey, I got you a gift, if you want I can show it to you, give me 2 minutes to put it on." ;-)
