I just received my ErgoMotion Mouse. I was looking for an ergonomic replacement for my previous Microsoft mouse that died on me after several years of loyal service. I was very frustrated with the options available for left handed users. I came across Smartfish Technologies web site a few months ago, before the mouse was available, and decided that this would be my next mouse (I used my "back-up" mouse until now, a wired $3 mouse). I kept checking back to see about availability and when I saw that Amazon had a few in stock, I jumped at it and it arrived today. I love the ErgoMotion Mouse. It took me a few minutes to get used to it, Its a little larger than I expected, I had to decide whether its more comfortable to use a palm rest or not, and I had to adjust the pointer speed in the mouse settings. Now I am happy. My months of suffering with my uncomfortable back-up mouse is over. I highly recommend the ErgoMotion Mouse. It is comfortable, seems to be well made and the pivoting top has just the right amount of resistance. At first I found that I was accidentally pressing the buttons while moving the mouse, but after a few minutes, I'm used to it. It is a great product.

I have to say when I first received the mouse I thought it was going to be completely different. I had in my mind that I wouldn't have to move the mouse at all, just pivot it back and forth to move it. Well that was wrong (which it would have been odd to do it that way) it actually moved around just like a normal mouse with one difference, your wrist is not kept at the same straight on position the entire time. The mouse pivots with your hand to make it much more comfortable and much more ergonomic.

As a blogger I spend a LOT of time on my computer, probably 10hrs a day or more. I have had to learn how to position my wrists when i'm typing and not sit in awkward positions that would cause carpel tunnel or any other strain on my wrist. My sister in law had it and had to have surgery so that's not a route I want to take and I will do what I can to avoid it!

It didn't take long for me to get used to it and see how smooth it really works! My wrist is not kept at a straight on position anymore I can move it freely and comfortable as I scroll the mouse around. It pivots smoothly and beautifully all around, there's not a direction it won't go with my hand.

After using it for just a few days my wrist honestly felt better than it did before. Before it would be a little tense after working on the computer all day but not near as much now. I can honestly tell a difference between my old mouse and this one and how I feel after using it all day is a world of difference.

The only thing I would mention is it's a big larger than i'm used to. While, of course, I typically use a small wireless mouse this one is about the size of an average one. But they do offer a mini one for those like me who are used to a smaller mouse. It's completely rounded and smooth across the top base of it, unlike others which I think makes it easier to move with your hand.

All in all I really loved this thing! It does take some getting used to but once you've got the hang of it the style and movement of it becomes second nature to you and you won't even notice it. But you will notice how different your wrist feels from before!

My husband is on his computer all day. He has days where his hands and wrists are really hurting. Having underwent surgery in 2006 to relieve numbness in all four of his fingers and regain mobility and feeling to his hand, which he never did I thought the mouse would be perfect for him.


The ErgoMotion Laser Mouse is great for Laptop / Netbook users and even those who have a desktop computer as long as the PC tower is not on the floor or in a cabinet.


When using it on his PC tower he found the the signal rang was not very good for him, "as his desktop computer sits on the floor," under his desk. He periodically would loose signal, so the ErgoMotion Laser Mouse wouldn't move as freely as it should. It would kind of stutter across his screen or not scroll at.

It worked great on his laptop though.


Overall a good product.

Love the mouse, very comfortable for my small hand and love the fact that it is wireless BUT it sometimes just stops working for no apparent reason. Resetting the USB wireless adapter usually does the trick.

I am constantly on my computer all day, therefore movement is minimal to nonexistent. This design is perfect- The mouse's movement adjusts to your wrist and hand positions to help keep blood flowing. Great idea!

I received this product not too long and it is definitely different from the rest! I had some wrist issues so I decided to give it a try. It has helped keep my wrist constantly moving but took some time to get used to since it is unlike any other mice on the market. Very comfortable, I would recommend it if you are always on your computer.

the first mouse i had was problematic. i emailed tech support and after going back and forth a few times they asked me to send it back. they even offered to test the replacement before sending it to me. very nice and helpful.

the replacement feels wonderful, i never noticed what my old mouse did to my wrist until i had a mouse that didnt. very cute. and the black has a bit of a shimmer to it, but its very subtle.

for the tech support alone it was beyond worth the price. i love the replacement mouse. i only wish they made a smaller one that i could take with me with more ease.

As other reviewers have stated, this is an excellent mouse; I'd like to add that the company's customer service is, without a doubt, best in class. I had to contact them twice, concerning a couple of small issues, and they were very prompt and courteous in resolving the issues. You can't ask for better than that.

I bought this mouse because I have osteoarthritis, and my old mouse was agravating it. This mouse is a huge improvement because it can pivot in any direction. Even other "ergonomic" mice require you to hold your hand in only one position. With this mouse, if one hand position gets tiring, I just change the angle a bit, and my hand feels much better. It also allows me to acheive a good hand position no matter what height surface my laptop is on. It is well made and seems sturdy. I highly recommend this mouse.

I bought this mouse for my wife. She was able to plug it in and start using it very easily. It seems quite comfortable too.

Unfortunately, after a few days the mouse just stopped working. I put in new batteries, tried to resync the dongle and the mouse using both methods suggested in the directions, but neither method fixed the problem. I also tried the mouse with two other computers and no dice.
