Works as advertised..
The reviews have been inconsistent but it works for me. I'm using it only as a charger but I tried syncing it to my mac and it worked flawlessly. I like the look and when the iPhone is docked, it has a nice firm and stable feel to it. The best part is the price. The price has dropped a little but even at the 12 dollar price point, it can't be beat.

Garbage
IT doesnt work doesnt even connect with my phone to even charge it. Do Not Buy IT.

I bought the product primarily for charging my iPhone while at work (with no need to sync with my PC... I do that each night at home). However, when I did try to sync the iPhone with my PC through the docking station, the charging progress and syncing connection would get disrupted. Plugged directly into the wall, this product charges the iPhone well; but plugged into the computer, I might consider buying another port.

I just ordered this for the iPhone 3G knowing that some of the chargers for the orginal iPhone (including the Apple made dock) won't fit the new iPhone. I wasn't sure if this would work.This does fit the 3G and does charge but it is a tight squeeze to get it in there. It doesn't fit quite right so you have to really pull it out but it works.
