Smash Cars is a great game and should be more popular than it is! It is very fun and fast-paced. It lets you race R/C cars against other R/C cars in the big world!

Participating in most competitions will cost you money, but if you get 1st, 2nd, or 3rd, the payoff is well worth the fees. You will progress into more and more serious events, until you become a champion professional.

As you win more races, you will earn bigger cars and faster cars. You may also buy upgrades for your vehicles. The best part is that when you buy an upgrade, it automatically applies to all the cars in your garage.

Races are not the only kind of event you may participate in, though. There are stunt contests, races to collect hidden objects, smash races, and more.

Watch out for angry people, dogs, or other animals; but when they're not looking, ram into them. This (along with doing flips, turns, and rolls in the air) will get you boost points. Look for shortcuts along the tracks!

Despite what you might expect, the graphics in this game are fantastic! The environments are beautiful and well-designed. The only weakness in this area are the people, who look very fake and stiff. The controls are also good. The in-game music is decent, and the other effects sound great.

The biggest weakness that I found was the poor stunt system. Though not very exciting, it still works and does the job.

Remember: This is not a game for the serious racing gamers who love Gran Turismo but hate Mario Kart and Burnout. The people who cannot have any fun with goofy racing video games will not enjoy Smash Cars.

If you are not one of the gamers mentioned above, get this game. The price tag is wonderful!!!

Smash Cars was an extremely fun arcade game and the idea of small RC car in a large world a pretty good one.

I'm not a huge fan of conventional, realistic racing games. I gravitate toward the quirky titles, games that are more arcade-like than realistic or that have wacky, far-flung themes.

Of course, having the vehicles handle like actual R/C cars means even the most stable ones are a bit squirrely. This could easily prove frustrating to serious racing fans...but come on, if you're a serious racing fan, what are you doing playing Smash Cars in the first place? Go play GT3 or something.

But I prefer this one.

After few first hours of play I can say that this game looks awsome. The back round looks great and so do the cars. I get this game for my son (which is 6) and he treat it like real R\C toy :)

putting RC car in real environment is a fresh and cool idea. good visuals, reasonable controls... nice game but lack of online and poor music makes it 4 instead of 5

if you loves Re-Volt, go and buy it!

Great game. Gave to my son as a Christmas present. He tried it out first at blockbuster. I give an A+ to the game.

This game is amazing!!!!!! At first it's a little hard to get good at, but when you achieve that it's the best game abbout cars.

I think this game is bad because well it is, it sucks rent it before you buy it.
