4.0 out of 5 stars Fun but needs instructions. August 18, 2012

No permissions, no IAP. There are no instructions The game itself is a good idea, but it needs more work.

There are four levels of play. Classic, Expert, Endless and Insane. You need coins to open the last three. The ninja runs along what looks like a tunnel (see pictures). There are stars placed randomly on the top and bottom. Your job is to shoot the monsters to gain coins while avoiding the stars. If a star hits you the game is over. There are three buttons. The two on the right shoot the stars either in front or behind you. The left button makes him jump up and down.

You run along on the ground until you see a star and jump up. This sticks you to the roof until you press the button again. The stars need better placement because when you jump up to avoid stars on the ground there is very often a star right there on the roof which you can't avoid. What I don't get is why sometimes the stars destroy him and sometimes they don't. When you get a scroll he starts running really fast and then just as suddenly he slows down. You can use your coins buy more scrolls that have different powers. There were times when the game just ended even if he hadn't hit a star. I don't know how that happened. There are other items you can get to change the scenery. I finally gave up when I came to what I can only assume is a boss. It was a big monster with wings throwing stars. There were no more small monsters to hit, no more stars to avoid except the ones the boss was throwing and no way to hit the big boss. The boss couldn't hit ninja because he was throwing straght ahead and ninja was either on the ground or the roof. So he just kept going and the points kept going up with no way out of it until it finally stopped on it's own.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fun gameplay and ok graphics, but no bgm. August 18, 2012

I enjoyed the style of gameplay, reminds me of "Gravity Guy". Fun to play but gets a bit boring after a while. I like the fact that you have to level up and earn coins in order to get new weapons, powers and modes. It encourages people to play it longer. But one thing this game lacks is BGM or almost any sound effects at all. It sorta messes up what this game had. If the dev would add BGM and more sound effects in a future update, it would be more enjoyable.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good, but needs tutorial June 25, 2013
Verified Purchase
This is a fun game, very addictive. But it needs some sort of tutorial to show you how to use it. This is what I've been able to figure out-
The little ninjas is a defendrer of the universe. The boss.monsters and their little henchmen are trying to take over the galaxies. You start the game in a galaxy that looks like earth. There are three buttons on the bottom of the screen, one on the left and two on the right. The one on the left will allow you to jump between the top and the bottom of the screen. The two on the right shoot throwing stars forwards and backwards. While in the galaxy you must shoot your throwing stars at the henchmen monsters, while avoiding the spinning stars by pressing the bottom left button to jump away. Jump when you see a scroll in the middle of the screen and you will go super fast and kill everything in sight. Jump when you see a spinning purple and blue ball thing in the middle and you will be taken to another galaxy. When you see the big monsters, watch out. If it is haoiy and has wings it will shoot stars at you. Avoid the stars, but jump and shoot stars at the monster. After doing this a while, you can kill it. You have three lives each game, which will disappear if you run into the monsters or the spinning stars.
That was all I could figure out.

2.0 out of 5 stars A promising start... August 18, 2012
Verified Purchase
It's off to a good start, but awkward controls and lack of any idea as to what's going on make the game very difficult enjoy.
The premise itself isn't that bad. You run down a long pathway throwing ninja stars at things while dodging obstacles. It's just that the execution isn't that good.
For example, I played the game enough for my ninja to die twice. Both times left me unable to explain how je died. When he takes damage there's no animation or sound effect.
And I hope he wasn't taking damage just by touching things, because those controls were very awkward and made ot very difficult to avoid touching things.

Difficult to play on a tiny phone - this might be better on a tablet.

A tutorial would go a long way.

This is a fun game. It does lack a tutorial but its easy to pick up the controls. The game lacks sound, though. The dojo is a cool idea; you customize your ninja. Read more
