"The fact of the matter is, NO MUSIC COLLECTION IS COMPLETE WITHOUT THIS ABSOLUTE MASTERPIECE. A fully realized work of art with one of the greatest guitar tones in rock history. Not a single dull moment on this album!"
"A monster of a double album. The interesting thing about this one is that it contains both the heaviest songs of their career and the most soft, along with Billy at his angriest and most sensitive. fantastic album, that can be tough to listen to all the way through in one sitting, but completely worth it!"
"This debut album is unmistakably good, has an almost psychedelic feel to it. Great intro on "I Am One" to one of the best drummers to come out of the nineties! Another must have! Once again not a single filler track to be found."
"This is a beautiful album. Not really appreciated by the public when it came out, and that is criminal. This stuff is great! Yes, the guitars are gone, but that's not really what this album is about, it's more about the atmosphere it creates."
"This was a welcoming surprise when it came out. When Machina came out in 2000 it seemed like the Pumpkins had lost their glow, accepting that it might not come back. Then you listen to the first track on Zeitgeist 2005 and you realize, hey they are back, and sound increadible. Very heavy on guitar."
"For some reason this one is very hard to get into. It opens with a great track, and then kind of goes all over the place. There are some great moments here and there, but as a whole...not really sure what happened. "Stand Inside Your Love", does stand out though as one of their best tracks."
