Smens from Educational Insights are scented pens. My daughters loved them! Each one had a unique scent, that you really could smell. They come in a container in which each pen is in it's own plastic tube. We actually keep ours stored that way. They are made from 100% recycled newspaper and biodegradable plastic. They make a great gift! And are perfect for my daughter who has decided she wants to write and actually wants to do it on paper, not a computer! See my full review here: [...]

The whole family LOVES our new Smens! We have the 10 pack and each one smells distinct and fun smell! I had fun with my kids trying to guess which one was which! Keeping them in their own tube definately seemed to prolong the aroma, and I thought the ALOHA scent was the BEST!

We love using Smens. The fruity and sweetened scents are delectable. They're so fun to use!
The main thing to remember is to make sure you return them to their plastic, enclosed cases between uses....otherwise their yummy scents will fade in just a matter of weeks. We lost a few that way. :(
The ink quality is okay -- about like most pens you buy at the supermarket -- but the scented cases are what make these shine!

the smell wa snot very strong
Item was returned because the smell was not very strong and most of the items were smelling quite artificially. If not for the description, I would not have guessed the sent.

Smells Like A Refund
You have got be kidding!? These "scented" pens don't smell like anything. Regular ballpoint pens at Staples pick up more of an odor than these. It wasn't even faint. Read more
