Chamber Feast,

I bought this particularly for the Tchaikovsky Piano Trio (the only one he wrote) and was rewarded with both a phenomenal Tchaikovsky as well as the generous pairing of the superb Smetana Trio! These performances are astounding; well balanced without allowing the piano to overwhelm the intricacies of the other parts. If you are unfamiliar with these compositions be prepared to save a place on your desert island list. Don't take my word, both are given high praise by The Penguin Guide.

The sound quality on this CD is excellent. Unfortunately, just as the Tchaikovsky begins there is a false start or skip. I can't quite figure out what it is. I would like to exchange it for another copy, if possible. Please advise. Thank you.
